Here's some food! That we bought! From the supermarket!
We've been spending less on food now that we've moved to the Gold Coast and haven't found jobs yet. About $40 for both of us at the supermarket and around $60 at the markets.
Eating vegan is so damn cheap :)
As some of you may know we're striving to upload every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday for the month of August BUT if we ever miss one of those days (as we did last Thursday) please hold tight! We'll definitely get 3 videos out every week!
We’d rather put things out that we are proud of rather than uploading just for the sake of uploading.

Apn9a It is very tricky! Especially when obsessed with acaí and exotic fruits. But to be honest, it's been easier than I thought it would be! Everything we eat is so filling and satiating :) Hope you're having a beautiful weekend

CamAndNina brrroooo get your beans from an indian store in dried bulk! canned are suchhh a rip off. Soak the dried beans, cook the whole lot and freeze!

We get dried beans as well! Nina's from Costa Rica so she knows the drill but the canned beans are for when we want a quick meal :)

museofthepoets it's so funny right! People always say that to us. We're like oh yeah rice and beans are really expensive I forgot! Eating what is traditionally a "poor" diet, no meat or dairy or gross stuff, is the best for everyone and everything!

Occasionally I'll splurge and buy some analog meats or vegan cheeses but for the most part I find that my budget is very similar to yours. I'll remind my friends sometimes that their beef is $2 a pound and my bananas are 45 cents per pound LOL.

Wish you guys the best, greetings from Venezuela, I kind of feel you guys because over here basic food (rice, pasta) is hard to find or really expensive so I have to work on a budget, and some vegan stuff are really hard to buy, I usually just eat all natural foods that I buy on little markets buuut is still tasty and really fullfilling. Thanks for the ideas.
