Miguel didn't voluntary retire, he had visibility issues due to excess water inside the helmet.

I just read autosport which stated he couldn't see due to the spray. Either way it has to be raining pretty hard for water to get into the helmet and cause that kind of visibility issue

It wasn't water going into the helmet, rather his visor was fogging up. Very odd, didn't seem to affect only Miguel, Bez I think also had issues with that, so it doesn't seem to be an issue only with Shark's helmet

It's easy to say now but if I were Miguel, from the moment my race was affected by the weather conditions, I as a pilot would raise my hand in an attempt to stop the race, I think any pilot has the right to make the request, however it was Marc Márquez who asked for it and was heard. It really went wrong for Miguel, unfortunately he has taken a lot of psychological beatings. Another thing I found out was that if he could stop in the pits and change his helmet to get back into the race, but as it ended up being canceled on the next lap, it wouldn't be useful for him.

Yeah he could have put his hand up, but unless other riders are doing it I doubt they would have stopped it. Plus I do think that race direction wanted to get it over the half way mark

How's this for a bombshell? Another piece in the puzzle: Ducati Corse general manager Gigi Dall’Igna has acknowledged that Marc Marquez "strongly wants to get on a Ducati”. Dall’Igna’s words, given to Sky Italia, are further confirmation that the eight-time world champion will indeed walk out of Honda and join younger brother Alex at Gresini next season.

It will be exciting to see Marc on the Ducati, assuming that he does wiggle out of the Honda contract. He should be a serious title force on it!

Martin you where saying mm93 was not leaving honda when everyone is saying he is leaving . Not a bombshell you are just wrong as usual.

Jorge Martin was counted out when he had his nasty crash and rehab. He took it personally that The Beast got the red bike over him. He's not a Marquez or connected like the Italians. They should have never gave him an equal bike to Pecco. He will make Ducati regret that by being the 1st independent rider to raise his middle finger. It's not that serious but it is

He has been doing seriously well, In fairness to Bastia last year he did a great job but right now Ducati will be wishing he Martin was in the factory.
