Boxing day was originally a day off for servants to celebrate after cooking, cleaning etc for the Lords, Ladies/ Masters of the house.

I stopped the video just to let you know that I have binged watched almost all of your videos since the 24th of December and I freaking LOVE you content. You are such an inspiration for me because I had cancer only 2 years ago at the age of 22 and I am now still finishing my college degree, after chemo and everything it got so much more difficult for me to focus and I get tired all the time and running my business on the side, I honestly just wanted to quit college, but now I got fresh motivation and inspiration.. Sophie, watching on my wife's birthday, yes new years eve! Your new camera's White Balance is what's causing the orange cast. Find White Balance or WB in the menu and set it to Auto!

Hi Sophie, happy New Year to you and David! As for your Canon camera, try changing up the White Balance or the warmth in the settings part.

Camera looks like a white balance problem. Check the white balance settings you might have it on something custom or daytime or tungsten or something

Hi Sophie! Happy New Years from the U.S. I am watching this while on shift as a paramedic and that noise at 11:03 is the exact noise that the alerting system makes when we get an ambulance call. I was out to the ambulance and in it, totally confused why I didn't have any more dispatch information, before I realized it was in the video. lol. I woke my partner up to go and everything LOL. I’m really considering getting it because I love the style and color, but I have a quick question. How can you style down this bag? Hey Sophie, first of all happy New Year. I've asked my husband who is really experienced in technical issues with cameras. He said that maybe you have accidentally switched the white balance from Auto to Shadow or Cloudy. He suggests to check it out in the menue. Lovely greetings Lilly

The cake sounds delicious! I am not a cook by any means, but I believe the pan that you used is a flan pan. A springform pan has a latch and spring on the side so you can remove the sides to get the cake out. I am sure there are bakers on here that can correct me if I am wrong.

I do not cook or bake, although I have written down the directions for this lovely desert. It really is appealing and I just might try to make it! I would like to visit Henley as I love books and antiques. So nice to see architecture from the past. I have not seen real milk bottles since the late 1960's. You can change your cameras setting to be brighter and not so yellow. you just need to twist the top button you use to take pictures with. It will adjust the lighting. I hope this helps

Sophie, the footage looks yellow because you need to go into the settings and default the white balance to original. You can also search RU-vid for adjusting white balance for (name and model of your camera) and that should fix it right up. I hope this helped! XO

All the canon cameras have a cool Camera Connect app you can download and take pictures from your phone through the canon. But now when I do that, it's also casting an orange yellow look indoors. My "selfies" when I visited London and Paris last month looked so sad! I might just get a new camera if can't fix the settings. If I figure it out, I'll let you know!

Baking usually has to be exact measurements otherwise it doesn’t come out right. The fact that you can just eye the amounts of the ingredients is fascinating.😊 I guess after you’ve done it a few times you just know.

Sophie, since you’ve had your camera for such a short period of time. It should still be under warranty and the company will take it back, fix it, or they will offer you a replacement or refund. You can check with them and see. Good luck with it. By the way I sleep with a sleep mask too!
