Wouldn’t it be nice if someone told you how to avoid their parenting mistakes and familial woes?
Although we wish we could snap our fingers and give you all the answers, there’s no way of telling the future. But what we can do is help you learn from OUR mistakes.
This week on At Home with the Beveres, we openly discuss what we wish we had known back then that we know now. We pray that these lessons will save you from the same pitfalls and help you set up your homes for success.
So, buckle up as we dive into a two-part series on how to set the tone in your home!

I love the way Addison’s wife looks at him with admiration and honor. She has so much joy in her countenance. I can sense God’s presence resting on her like a coat with a long train.

I see Lisa, and how beautiful wisdom is on her, she wears it like a 👑 She is radiant with the grace of Yah, having sons that bring her honor and a husband that loves her like Yeshua loves us.

Watching my dad read his Bible every day either in the morning or at night was a HUGE influence on me. I knew where to find him every day at those specific times.

Lisa Bevere is soooo soo funny I can’t 😂 with the Italian citizen ship. I know John is Italian too and he actually looks very Italian too like one of my uncles! I love the honest and the humor. They are all so funny and entertaining. Lisa is a Sicilian sister❤ it’s all in the personality more than Anything!

I love the "protection is in my obedience" part. There is no perfect parenting as methods changes with seasons and what is going around you at the time but the word of God is what never fails! Thanks guys!

This has me in tears and laughing and crying knowing I'm not doing things so wrong. I've tried to regiment devotions with 4 homeschooled kids and struggle but I have bible conversations with my kids in daily life. When something happens we read a scripture on it and talk about it. Walk the house praying and singing in the spirit warring over my family etc.

Talk about the families that can not have dinner together because they have aspbergers or/and ADHD and they are not able to sit at the table. I had this thing to that a family have dinner TOGETHER. But I had to lay it down. There was to many fights. Gods grace covers these situations I believe🙏❤️

I just want to say I am soo grateful for this episode. I served so and was away from my children so much that they became resentful, and I did not fully understand the disconnect, but I got my answer today. My life was segmented, and serving my leader was what "mom" did. I should have included them when the opportunity was there and created more family moments. Thank you

Thanks for sharing! My husband and I have been married 43 years, 47 years total together. He's now in Jesus at peace, but I keep Jesus busy on another level along with worship, praise and thanksgiving he now, is the one that informs me where to find Stephen's things in the garage and in the house! Stephen's absence is huge, but we raised 3 beautiful daughters. Now, I have the honor of grandparenting a granddaughter and have 2 more gbabies on the way. What had me chuckle with this teaching was when John was telling the memory of his and Lisa anniversary get away. Only because no matter how long married, each experience situations differently🤣 Now I get to share our experience on my own without, ""hah, no, that's not how it happen"🤣 I miss those dinners at the table! Conversations and tweaks on how to do things better. We have been blessed beyond measure!!! Thanks to Jesus and families like yours that keep us inspired to represent the Kingdom well ❤

🙏🏼🔥🙏🏼❣️🙏🏼❣️🙏🏼🔥 This is SO COOL!!! … “dad” just said, Johnathan Edward’s said,”each family is a small church !! God”s been praying threw me, during this 10 day fast(1/3-12) w my 4 teen boys, He prayed through me….“bless your body, the body of Christ”. When I prayed this I was referring to me and my boys I kept stopping myself, bc I thought to myself, WHY DO I KEEP praying this…only for me to be redirected bk to praying that same line…. Now it ALL MAKES COMPLETE SENSE🙏🏼🔥. All bc “dad” said this👆🏼 TYSM!!! U defined the dynamics in this prayer The Lord kept praying through me, before and after our night of fasting. ♥️🔥♥️🔥♥️
