What went wrong is their best player is 22. What also always goes wrong for young players is that analytics have taken away the mid range…… this was the problem Tatum had in his past runs. Teams just pack the paint and play you tight and players nowadays won’t shoot the middie when it’s there most of the game. The wolves also aren’t a great 3 point shooting team and the referees hate Rudy Gobert. The guys in Dallas were playing like Savages and if the guys on Minnesota did anything physical they were in foul trouble. When a defensive team is not allowed to play defense they will lose. Minnesota only beat Denver because they didn’t get tick tack fouls for picking up Jamal Murray and mauling he and MPJ. I noticed the wolves could dial back and play defense without their hands and cater to the refs but they STILL picked up tick tack fouls. It’ll be interesting to see who the refs side with in the finals it always is.
