What size life vest do you take ? We are about the same size roughly and i am looking at buying the same pfd as you had in the background in this video .

how is it if it stays mostly dry, ie wet legs from putting the ski in the water but dry upper body?

This is going to be my second year with a jet ski and looking to get a new life jacket, what kind is that behind you?

That is an Obrien life jacket, I got that one at Dicks sporting goods on sale last year. Just make sure you get a coast guard approved life jacket

I’m curious if you found the 5mm wetsuit too warm when you hit May but still didn’t want to be without a wetsuit? Same thing with the end of season.

it's not bad, the water stays pretty cold here and the wind keeps you cool. I ditched the hood and boots later in may. We probably stopped wearing the wet suits around the 3rd or 4th week in may

Chest zips are way more comfortable , little harder to get in and out ... Xcel hooded 5/4 ... Bell helmet

for sure, id like to upgrade to a chest zip, I just had no where to try a chest zip on and didn't feel like having to order and then send back

jet ski wetsuits suck anyways! they are loose not form fitting. they dont seal the water out like a decent surf wetsuit. the wetsuit will expand up to 30% as soon as its in the water so make sure it fits like snug glove!
