It has finally warmed up slightly, so today is the first time that we took the Seadoo Spark Trixx up to the ocean and it was a blast. The trixx is so much fun in the ocean! Drop a sub though please!
Thank I in Western Australia and just started looking at getting one come cross your videos as I been looking in to them love the videos 👌🏻and went today to order it today
Shred Shack I’m thinking the spark trixx if I can find one decently cheap because I would gat a pair if I didn’t get that it would most likely be an ex series waverunner
Shred Shack yeah that’s kinda the thing I really want the trixx for the fun factor but it’s not gonna be as reliable stable or comfortable for long rides
I saw that bridge in the beginning. I was like he is on Long Island. Been thinking about getting a jet ski for a while! Hopefully see you out there one day!
Awesome vid man.. I laughed when you said about it being much better than a lake... I literally said the same thing first time i went out in the ocean.
Yeah dude it's so much more fun. You're lucky though, you got much bigger waves to jump off near you. Ps, you should of hit the big wave in your last video
@@ShredShack yeah I'm heading back out there Friday to hit the big ones with some buddies (if they rock up). Biggest fear is knocking myself out in water while riding solo
Btw i can't wait for vids. Your big reason why i bought seadoo spark But i got sound system which is fun to have while riding around or when we pull up to island. You can take it off and bring it right onto beach. Going to be fun while listening to NHL hockey playoffs on radio few weeks from now.
Good choice! I was debating on getting the sound system but just did not like the way it looked. That is actually super cool to listen to the play offs on the water
@@ShredShack i had spark then upgraded to 2021 spark trixx 3 weeks ago. Its ready this friday. My lake is a big one. 10th largest in world but i stay around shore, bounce around beach town to beach town, then islands 15 min from cottage where ppl hang out and i bring my fishing rod. Its great.
Depends on your budget and riding style, of the three I ride, I love the spark trixx because it can do wheelies, its light, and it is great to jump waves as well as affordable. However it is not the fastest and can be a bit rough when cruising in choppy water
I have not sprayed the engine down yet, that was my first outing into salt water with it. I'll have to look into that. That sucks about the spark, what issues are you having with the spark?
Not entirely sure how the Mediterranean is but the trixx is good jumping waves but if you’re just cruising through chop it can be a bit rough and your body will definitely be sore.
This launch is the public state ramp in Milford. That's probably also my favorite spot as well because you can go up the Housatonic river or into the long island. I also go to lake zoar a lot because it is closer to me.
Shred Shack ohh we have not been there yet I will definitely have to check that out this summer!! We always go out near the Baldwin bridge! Thanks for sharing!!
Yea dude it was a blast. No issues with the Tacoma, its rated to tow about 6700 pounds. The double trailer and two jet skis weigh about 1600 pounds so easily under the limit and tows without a problem.
@@ShredShack that's where mine is fastest most of the time, I like one or two under neutral for rough water, seems to keep it from porpoising as much. Headed out to ride this weekend. Loving my Trixx so far!
Come to Canada or go to Minnesota. Their lakes are great. You are looking for open waters like an ocean which Connecticut lacks in your area. There more like river streams. There are some decent lakes around you however. New York, Vermont has tons
@@jssekyl it is. Lake ontario us a good spot. Close to shore can be great rides sightseeing. Oceans a bit harder to do that. Also waves are much more difficult
A lot of it has to do with how you take care of it and if you're abusing it. The most common problem is a broken wear ring mostly due to sucking up debris in shallow water which can be avoided most of the time. My trixx has been solid so far, we'll see how it fairs the more I ride it. For the low price and fun, you can't really say no the trixx.
Shred Shack got most of my final parts on getting ready this Thursday to put the top deck back on, I got my exhaust in, my throttle body spacer, and my intake upgrade, also did my depth finder which is sweet, had to wait for the 12v outlet kit I’m adding that it just came it goes inside the glove box really nice stock add on. Ordered some hydro turf to install that’ll look awesome. I’ll get you pics next few days.
Shred Shack I spent too much money, I even bought all the linq accessories the bag, gas r am and tool box. But at least I can refuse them when I move to a new ski, same with the depth finder it works across all models. So I’m really not losing as much as investing. And besides I’ll probably always keep this bad boy. Oh yeh I ordered their xps line of cleaners the wash and wax, the uv protectant, And spray wax. I was gonna use my usual detailers but wanted to try their line I’ll let you know how good it works.
Glad I found this channel! We just got a couple skis about 2 months ago and it's defintely addicting. If you get a chance check out our page as well! You just gained another sub!
