What will the NEXT Sharks logo look like? 

The current Sharks logo is still going to look really modern in about 10-15 years. I'd probably say we don't need another logo rebrand for at least that long, if not more

Im on board with the open-mouthed Shark logo. Just slap it on one jersey. Just one.

Terry’s a great artist, but v1 is the better more timeless logo. Though if they would just remove the additional or angle triangle stroke it could mean a lot for the current. It’s out of place on the new jerseys

Current logo is cleaner and meaner but the old logo and jersey colors were perfect..

All I want is for them to bring back the black alternates from roughly 2015 with the whole shark in view. other than that keep the current logo and you're golden

I was, and still am, a proponent of the “Screaming shark” logo becoming our new primary. I thought with a more modern feel, more ferocious look, that it would bode well with the new logos we’ve seen just in our division, with the Kraken and that team from Las Vegas

why change it? the current one looks great still.

The first logo is still better, even if it doesn’t check all the boxes of “proper visual design” from Terry’s perspective, it was literally timeless, would last hundreds of years, hundreds. It’s Red Wings level of timeless logo

I love this logo, the only change I would make is getting rid of the triangle and reverting back to a logo where you see the full shark with its tail underneath.

Right now the Sharks Uniforms as a whole with the current logo and Teal pants, and Helmet are in my opinion the peak of Sharks Hockey History. I LOVE The Original Jersey/Heritage But Deleting the Orange (Thank GOD), and Simplifying to just Teal, Black, and White has been such a visual pleasure. Everything just blends in seamlessly. I know people at the beginning were saying it's too much teal, but loved the white jerseys but it just looks beautiful. Teal is Unique to our Team and I didn't realize how much more cohesive it would be using Teal Pants/Helmet over black. Looking back at last years just looks so much more inferior. I also am not the biggest fan of that last Generation of Jersey with the Orange lines on the arms, I think it's at the bottom of the list for me. Also I do regard the Heritage Look as equally elite as our current setup in terms of colors, I just think modernizing it with the current logo would have also been perfection. Also the Font of the current Uni's are elite. Karlssons 65 with the little accent on the 5 looks amazing, the details are just flawlessly put together. Gushing rant over lol

The logo is well executed. I don't think it's a classic NHL logo though. To be a classic hockey logo it should be less detailed, simpler and more timeless. This design looks like a cartoon from the 2000's. I much prefer a logo like the Flyers, Canadiens, Rangers, Wild, Blues etc. I wish it has thicker lines and a few less thin ones.

I like the la sharks ( wha) symbol better,but I like the teal colors,

Sadly the impetus behind many of the names for professional sports teams today is rooted in intellectual property rights, and the ability of a league or franchise to obtain them free and clear. The Cleveland Guardians became the Guardians not because of an overwhelming desire to use that name. They became the Guardians because every other nickname they considered posed a legal hurdle they couldn't, or simply didn't want to, clear; and they really even didn't do sufficient homework on "Guardians" as it turned out. The new Winnipeg Jets use that name because the NHL took great care to keep the intellectual property rights to it after the original team left for Phoenix; without that, they'd be the Manitoba Moose - a name True North had already secured the IP rights for, and could transfer to an NHL franchise without a legal hassle ensuing.

Nothing wrong with current logo and no need to change it or think about changing it.
