I have seen very few take the time to build the amount of knowledge you have with air guns, the fact that you are so willing to share your knowledge is such a great offering to all us that do not have your level of knowledge. Thank you.
Hi James, another great video. Can you tell us the make and model of the scope and mounts you were using? I find that most dovetail mounts cause the windage to shift slightly at different ranges. Thank you.
Is it possible based on your video some slugs to stabilize a little further down the range better and to have wide spread groups on 50 yards but good groups on 150 yards due to stabilization and speed factors. Couse I get such a results with my .25 cal bigmax x shooting at 961 gps jsb knockout slugs, which are 2.170 grams (33.5 grains).
Oh my lord get a loading pen for the cold with gloves. I use them without wind. Arthritis gives me stupid fingers. I switched over to a Gammo with a magazine. So much mo better to cock and shoot though a little tough to swap mags. Not Gammos fault, I told you about the fingers. Haven't shot anything past 40 yards though but the squirrels never knew it.
Correct to a certain distance, since it's slower in colder dense air the destabilization starts sooner than warmer air, but this distance is still considered long range. For my shooting for instance its between 150-200yd depending on the temperature, above 32 degrees or below
