while watching your video im experiencing my vertigo,,its been many weeks that im suffering everytime i lay on bed and sometimes when getting up ..im a single mother 4 kids,,i have two grandkids,,3kids and 2 grandkids dependents,,im always stress with my kids and grandkids,, doing house hold chores and working,, i learned many things to do to have healthy lifestyle thank you for sharing it i hope my vertigo subsides soon

I love you. I just found you. I just borrowed and paraphrased my first mantra ever...and it was from you. " Today I am healthier than yesterday" What I think is sporadic vertigo,self diagnosed for I don't like most doctors and really dislike dealing with insurance companies. The way you describe the calcified crystals moving around affecting balance is spot on. At times I can even hear the rattling which I thought it was old stuck calcified earwax. I am not going to any doctors for this. I refuse this time. My anxiety and my emotional and financial budget does not allow for it at the moment. This is a great video, thank you for explaining. Two months ago, I got braces. After a month of adjustment, I started feeling very dizzy two days later, like my eyes were going to fall out. I had my eyes checked, and everything was okay. I wonder if my braces could be related to the dizziness? Which doctor should I consult? Thanks!

All I can say you are a blessing for people around the world that have vertigo that all need help with it please help doctor around the world to listen to there patients about what they going through and patients just don't want too be brush off with a lot of medicine that doctors want to give to there patients because patients are tired of taking so many medications that doctors give to patients even we are getting older doctors should be patient with their patients not just brushing them with medication all the time so if can teach or help doctors around the world about vertigo it would be great blessing and appreciated so of doing these videos please keep doing them they very informative with people with vertigo and other health issues so you and your family and friends stay safe and well in Jesus name thank you and be blessed

Thanks for good content, which sparks thoughts and ideas for why a person might suffer vertigo. One suggestion for your videos, especially those about vertigo - please stand still and use fewer hand/arm motions. These unnecessary movements make it hard for someone with a tendency toward vertigo to watch.

Hello from Australia. Am 74 years old & had first Vertigo episode in Jan. Really bad for the first couple of days but was pretty much out of action for 5 days. Only health issue I have is Asthma so am very lucky. Must admit am in a permanent state of stress which was multiplied with covid lock downs we have been subject to in Aus. Had second bout last week, still aware of how I get up & down from a chair as I spin. Every night when I go to bed it starts again for a few seconds, same first thing in morning when I get up, have to hold the wall for the first few steps. Live alone so frightening. Have basically been horizontal since Covid as mask wearing etc was impossible for any length of time due to Asthma. Worked full time until 72 years & covid plus live in a studio flat attached to a house where Iandlady doesn't really like me helping in garden etc so lack of activity has been major. Have read this could also be part of the Vertigo beginning. Will definitely begin drinking water as recommended as hopefully it may help.

I’ve had vertigo for some years now. In the beginning it would only last a day or so. They progressed to a couple days. About 2 years ago I had it really bad for about 3 weeks. Went to Eye, Ear and Nose doctors, then to neurologist. They said I just had a bad case. Fast forward to now I experiencing it worse. I can be just sitting down and I get dizzy. I’m so over this PLEASE HELP

Hey Gregg. You and your team are doing amazing work. I love the way You keep things simple and keep me interested. I had BPPV three weeks ago. Things felt better, but then I had migraine (aura) one week ago, and another sense of vertigo appeared (BVD?). Today I saw a chiropractor for the second time, and he corrected my spine. I also went to see an optician (which turned out to be an optometrist!), and she discovered a "normal" squint, and another one by using prism glasses. If my newfound vertigo doesn't settle, I'll be going for prisms. Bottomline being, I've been pushing my body for too long, ignoring things like stress, sleep, ergonomics, food etc. I should've met professionals a long time ago. Now I'm 34 and finally trying to get my shit together, and yeah, It's time for a dentist appointment. Much love from Sweden, I'm taking your teachings with me for life. /Max

Hello there! Thank you for these videos! I have had 2-3 bbpv episodes each year for the last year and usually correct it with the epley maneuver. I am trying to boost my immune system because I also get cold sores and noticed that I did have a cold sore outbreak before this last vertigo episode a few days ago. Not sure what my cause of vertigo is, but I know I need a choropractic adjustment anyway😄. Do you know of any in the Mountain Grove, MO area? Thanks!

I am 69 years and just had my 1st Vertigo episode. Went to a Dr. and he subscribed me to PU Medizine and do exercise to help. I drink water and have been drinking Celius drinks as well. I have a area in my neck on the right side that bothers me off and on could that be the reason. Thanks for your videos. I will do the exercises you showed it helped me some.

Great info. My latest episode w vertigo landed me in the ER a couple of days ago. It was extreme, with severe nausea and vomiting, numbness, body shakes and sweating. One of the worst. Of course they ran a battery of tests ie CAT scan, EKG, etc (not my first set) and blood panel. I was def dehydrated according to the panels, though I am diligent with my daily water intake at 80-120 oz (I weigh about 110 lbs), depending on the day's exercise. I am very active with cardio, strength, and barre workouts. I've tried a PT and a neurologist (my head scans are clear). I do have "Severe degenerative changes C5-6" and some other neck issues. Could you please recommend a corrective chiro in the Central Ohio, Columbus area? Many thanks.

Thanks for info. I currently have vertigo, which was accompanied by sudden sensory loss in my left ear. The ear specialist cant explain whats going on and its a 3 month wait for mri in canada. Some of my hearing has come back in left ear. Any suggestions or ideas what it could be? I did get neck adjustment 2 minths ago then i developed vertigo.

Dr. Thank you for your insight. I have been a vertigo sufferer since April 2021. I also have ringing in my left ear. My Dr said it’s allergies put me on Flonase and Allegra. Referred me to ENT and Phys Therapy. I also got an audiology test which came back within normal ranges. I was told it’s most likely stress. Which I’ve had anxiety since January this year. Also, I am going thru Peri-menopause as well. Vertigo has progressed to nausea and vomiting within the last few months. I do use Apple Cider Vinegar once a week, I also use lemons off and on. I do feel dehydrated and been drinking more water. I heard ginger tea and cool compress on your neck/shoulders helps. How do I stop these attacks before I get nausea and vomiting ? Do you have a referral for San Diego, CA? Thank you for this video in helping us get better.

Wondering if you are familiar with Chiari Malformation? I have had a fossa decompression. Have daily constant vertigo, inflamed pressure base if skull, pain in ears, jaw, pressure in eyes. Have panic disorder and PTSD with major previous trauma and abuse. Ant suggestions?

You are speaking my language, Doctor! I’m at the end of my second bad vertigo episode-I have modified my water intake/omega 3’s/clean, high protein, low carb/sugar diet. I’m willing to do the work. Unfortunately, I’m south of you and about to start nursing school. Do you know of a good chiropractor in the south suburbs? I’m in Mokena. I went to a chiropractor in my area and have a “straight neck,” but she was not cognizant of my vertigo whatsoever after telling her multiple times that was my issue and proceeded to give me a rough neck adjustment 🥴 I need some gentle, upper cervical work. Lena, there are many people that have the same problem as you, including myself. I've had the actual 'spins' rarely over the last 2 and a half years (less than once a month). I had a severe episode of vertigo at the beginning of this which lasted a couple months, and my balance has been off ever since. I need to be careful now stepping off curbs or going down steps (need a hand-hold). I use a cane now, and I didn't need one earlier. Currently, I'm reducing drugs that may effect this, doing neck exercises, and using acupressure Alien Wellness recommends. I feel a 'crunchiness' somewhere in neck when rotating my head. I also believe adding electrolytes to water helps with hydration.

Ive been dealing with this for almost a year and i know from where, wasn't sure what it was called. Someone told me just few days ago is "Vertigo" i said What ? when i looked it up here it was all the same as i had. I found you right away and i did the first exercise sitting and literally the dizziness almost complete, this is something i been dealing for almost a year and it was almost done within 2 minutes. i will continue doing it over and over. in your other videos there are lots of good movements. My condition was very concerning to me. Amazing. Thank You for the time and effort. Take care

My vertigo started 4 months ago. It happens every 3 weeks to a mont like clockwork and typically last 3-5 days each time. I have neurology and ent appts but no chiropractor. Do you recommend anyone? I live in Chattanooga, TN. Thank you for this great information.

I’m 42 and I’ve been having vertigo several times a week. I’m also 21 weeks pregnant, but I started having vertigo before getting pregnant, though it seems to have been exacerbated by the pregnancy. A chiropractor gave me some exercises to do, but they haven’t really helped. He also did some adjustments. Over the last few weeks it seems to have gotten a little better but today it came back with a vengeance. I hate it. I can’t do anything and I can barely take care of my kids.

Hello, Great video! I had vertigo problems for 4-5 months - it started slow and then got pretty bad. Feeling I was moving all the time. It might acurred after a fluent or cold. I went to archupuncture and got 12 treatment - it helped a lot. I was almost free for a month, and then I was hit by two cold and got a little ear problems - feeling some kind of pain in my ears. Then i started to feel a little dizzy again - not as bad at all. But got pretty dizzy then I tried to exercise and also has the feeling of some kind of attac, then i tried to be to concentrate on my pc or something else. Like the room was going to spin around but didn’t. Then got on archupuncture again. Still in process 🙏🏻 is that normal?

Hello from Switzerland and thank you so much for your very helpful videos. My episodes are violent and happen most of the time when I lie on my back. The strange thing is that I do not experience dizzinesses or spinning, it feels like an electric shock directly to my brain. When I subsequently do the Epley maneuver then I do experience violent spinning. I am wondering if anybody else had experienced this or if it is actually vertigo at all ? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Dr Greg, can you please recommend a corrective chiropractor in the Philadelphia area? I was in a major MVA in 2015 and fractured 7 of my vertebrae, had an open compound fracture of my left tibia, broke both my arms and hands, and now I have a left prosthetic leg. I’ve been suffering from headaches, vertigo, and TMJ since the accident. I’ve had full cardiac and neuro work ups (because of the severe vertigo and headaches) and everything came back normal. I live an extremely healthy lifestyle regarding diet, water intake, exercise, sleep, etc. I practice transcendental meditation. Everything you’re saying makes so much sense and I think seeing a chiropractor could be very beneficial for me! Thank you in advance! ☺️ Julianne

6 years ago I had tingling when I turned my head to the right side it was in my left neck and spread to my head and around my face next thing I'm having off balance sensation and migraine for months after. Was horrendous felt so depressed. Had CT scan couldn't find anything. Being an active person I wondered if hours of cycling did this. Never had room spinning. Fast forward to now felt good last 6 months but 2 months ago go a foam neck device as it said open up cervical and Wednesday last week middle of night got spinning and headachs and this continued each day as I tried to get up from bed. Took medication to help and massaged my neck even did the eply movement to try and help. Today much improved and so I figured it was the neck foam I used so not doing that anymore. I have a healthy diet and drink lots of water and try to stay positive. I do suffer with eustachian tube dysfunction which has been years giving me grief but no one can help. It's interesting that nerves in the neck can cause so many problems and I thank you for all the useful videos. Thank you they have helped me.

I had 4 times vertigo attacks....i did epley manuever and it went away....so now im an active person...i go out for walk and jogging 3 times a week for 30 minutes...i took less sugar salty meals....reduce my meals intake....from full plate to half plate....sleep early.... i dont check my phone often.... just to relaxi myself....just to enjoy the real world...like going out for hiking...fishing....im ok now....

hello... I did a handstand move while working out and my neck was feeling weird. went to sleep that night and woke up with vertigo. probably my neck caused those crystals to dislodge? who knows ... What about dizziness but without room spinning? Is that called something else, with different causes or just in a continuum with spinning as a more advanced stage? I feel slightly dizzy with a very slight nausea that comes & goes lately...it also happened in previous years for a couple of weeks & then seemed to disappear...in fact now it's June 22nd, 2022 & I just saw on my Facebook Memories, a post I made in June one year ago, saying I was inexperiencing unexplained dizziness! I can feel a sort of full feeling in my head like energy trapped there & causing a slight intracranial pressure & also a place in my cervical vertebrae that feels like something is out of balance, like a speed bump that's impeding a freely flowing energy...what do you think about this? Maybe I'll try to see a chiropractor in this (Brookline- Boston, Massachusetts) area...

It work for assisted-living and memory care facility and need to find ways to decompress after a long day of helping them have a better life. Plus I have stressors of my grown children and their problems. Do you think meditation would be good? I am so tired of the vertigo and being afraid every second that I’m going to have another attack. I won’t even make plans to do anything outside home or work. They’re violent and sometimes I fall into my head her get bruises all over my body. I just don’t know what to do anymore. You need to do the dix Halpike test and supine test so someone can watch for nystagmus, someone knowledgeable will know to look for torsional or lateral nystagmus, then know what maneuver you need to do. You must be proactive, lying there is just putting it off. I know it sucks, I get bppv, and also occipital and cervical nausea.

What about coffee and tea are they included in you water amount daily? I usually drink 1/2 cup coffee and 16 oz of decaf tea and 3 /16 oz of water a day? Which is 68 oz / day I should be drinking 80oz....

The ringing is because of the ear wax or infection or damages.There is no exercise to solve the problem unless you going to see ENT doctors.I did flush away out the strong earwax last year the result is ok i can hear well without ringing...but after 3 days i had vertigo attacks...damn....and now the ringing is came again....EEEeeeee....sound in my right ear.....

I have meneires disease. So the vertigo, tinnitus, deaf in left ear noisy vacuum stuck like air in one ear, the wanting to vomit due to motion sickness and everyday is a struggle because episodes every day from mild to extreme. Had this since 2009 til now. I’m out of options please send help.
