a lot of them are M390 or “premium steel”. Bladehq does properly have the correct label for them.

If it was made in 2022 or 2023, it will be M390. Microtech is now buying their steel directly from Bohler Uddeholm in Austria instead of distributors so the merry go round with steels should slow down unless they're doing special runs (like Magnacut for BladeHQ or their Ultem knives).

break cleaner in a can, followed by dry silicone spray. works great. my ultratech hangs up all the time. with slightest speck of dust!

@Capt Dave's Sport Fishing I never have any problems with firing with my microtech's and I edc all 6 of them...

Captain Dave is on every ultratech video saying the same thing. I appreciate his video on $30 lightening otf's but there's no comparison. I own both and yes the ultratech button has some wiggle by design. It has no effect on its operation and without a doubt is still worthy of its $310 price tag in every way. The lightening otf's are fine also for their price but not even close to an ultratech. I use both and would throw the lightening in the trash before I sold my ultratech.

I said same thing but caved and bought 2 they are strong enough for torture tests on RU-vid so I bought 1 for actual use and one for collecting because if you keep them in box they go up in time I guess so for me it was worth buying them tired or cheap shit that you can break with just your hands

NO, not true. A single action OTF will NOT fully deploy if something is in front of it. Before making false statements maybe at least own a S/A otf and test that theory out. You will learn very quickly how wrong the statement you made really is....

You obviously never held a single action OTF before....
