If I knew this when I was younger, my oily skin wouldn't ruin my self-esteem with all the acne I had to carry throughout high-school and uni.
It's a simple dermatological principle that the cosmetics industry doesn't want you to know, because they wouldn't be making money off you.
The sole goal of the companies making cosmetic products for oily skin is to squeeze as much money out of you as possible, so with their marketing techniques, they invent a bunch of product you don't actually need.
So just stick to what I preach and you'll be on your way to befriend your skin.
