In this episode, we are joined by our good friends Talia and Madison, also known as Tal & Mads on RU-vid. I really enjoyed this! IMO, lots of viewers would enjoy the daily job life stuff. However, I’m not sure your jobs would be conducive to filming. I imagine that, in both cases for you two, that there would have to be permission and waivers … paper work and red tape. I was a teacher for 31 years and can’t imagine that the powers that be would allow me to film and post it on a social media platform. I do watch a few folks whose content is their work life. Laura Farms is a great example. We tag along as she and her husband, go about the business of farming.

It's a whole new generation .. I'm an old hippie and somehow managed to do all of the things I wanted to do (for MY generation) while still maintaining multiple part time jobs, but I'da sure gone for THIS lifestyle if it had been available to me back then. Have fun girls. 🕊

I’m so glad you brought up traveling to different Prides. I volunteer for the Indy Pride Festival and I was thinking this would be something you all would enjoy! It’s just Indianapolis, IN and nowhere near as exotic as Amsterdam, but we always put on a good show and have good crowds.

Loved them! I’m twice y’all’s age but I relive my glory days watching you! If I could go back I would buy a small efficient camper that I could tow, grab a willing friend, and hit the road. I’ve been married for almost 30 years, are empty nesters and a new Mimi to a beautiful granddaughter! It’s still on our bucket list. We’re not too old. And I want my granddaughter to be able to experience brome of that with us. Love y’all!

We always have snow until at least May here in The Yukon. 😂😂 Tal and Mads, on your return trip you need to detour to Skagway! It’s a really cool little Tourist town on the coast. They’re attached to the rest of Alaska via the Marine Highway. But they have to drive through The Yukon to get to the rest of Alaska. It’s about 2-2.5 hour drive from Whitehorse.

I’m sorry if it’s annoying to have multiple comments. I like to comment on things as they come up and remind me of things. I’m considering starting a RU-vid channel when I start travelling in a couple of years. Probably just for my family to watch though. I don’t think I could ever be as public with my life as you all have. But I’m glad you do because I love watching and it gives me the courage to do vanlife to begin with!!!

I like the ideal of having a career and being able to travel and actually enjoy living. At the moment I'm not in that certain area in my life and more stuck with my career and many others being short staffed and forced to work overtime and not having so much time to be with family and loved ones. I've been searching for a Pack Chat for today, July 27th, & haven't yet found it. BUT I discover that I did not fully imnerse myself in (or completely missed) June 7th. So here I am -> where you four were seven or nine weeks ago. And I'm enjoying the similarities & differences in our experienced lives, except mine were 30 or 50 years earlier. Two of you have tamen camping to a whole new level; what I did in Vancouver and Victoria were totally different; and I'm a guy with no dog of my own & you'all definitely aren't. But i love seeing & hearing your stories. Cuz i could never be as upbeat or hard-working.

i drive school bus i completely understand what mads says about getting to know your kids. if i meet any of mine outside of school there allways happy to see me n some give hugs. other drivers just drive and want it over with i just cant be that way these kids get enough of that at home

This could have been so much _less_ confusing if you had stated that "yukon" meant the province (is it a province?) of Northwestern Canada and not a General Motors type of vehicle! And that Tal and Mads were _not_ at your cabin in Nova Scotia! It took me eight or more minutes of viewing to suspect these aspects. It doesn't help that the interior of their vehicle matches your cabin surprisingly well and the video production quality is so high that I thought you were in the same room for the first 4-5 minutes.

Wish I was going to Amsterdam Pride cant afford it. I don't know if you have been to Amsterdam before, its beautiful. Be sure to take a boat tour of some kind & visit the Homomonument its near the Anne Frank Museum & infront of a church. I always go & pay my respects at the Homomonument & think of all those that have gone before. Have a great time in Amsterdam. Great interview!

I’m 72 years old and have multiple health issues. If I needed a nurse I would want someone just like Tal. If I still had kids of school age, I would want them to have a teacher like Mads! If I were moving into the sticks, I’d want neighbors just like Chrystal and Jazz! I didn’t realize there were ticks in BC. I guess it figures it is a much warmer province than The Yukon. Just so you know… we refer to it as The Yukon not just Yukon. 😂😂😂 you will hear that from pretty much all Yukoners!! We never used to have deer in The Yukon. They’ve only been here … probably less than a decade? As the climate changes they’ve come further north. Maybe they’ve brought ticks with them.

Movie way before y’all were born, but have you seen the movie Brainstorm with Christopher Walken, Natalie Wood, Louise Fletcher, Cliff Robertson? Really intense movie about when scientists invent a brain-computer interface enabling sensations to be recorded from a person's brain and converted to tape for others to experience, and the ways, good and bad, it can be used to help or destroy people.

Being empathetic, making "friends" with you patient can be a 2-edged sword. If they die or start going down hill it can be such a drain on nurses like her. but we need more nurses that can realize thats not just a biological being but a person. They seem to be few and hard to find. And that's coming from someone that has been hospitalized so many times in my lifetime that it is ridiculous. It is easy to accept that there are 2 types of nurses. Maybe call them clinical nurses and compassionate nurses.

I've hit a bird and it was in the grill of my vehicle. It was a beautiful blue bird. I made my wife take it out and we burried it. I cried. It was horrible. I've also hit a groundhog and he limped away. I don't know if he suffered and died somewhere because I tried to go after it but he went through a backyard but I still think about him. I've also saw someone actually hit a duck in purpose. There was people behind me on a busy 4 lane road so I couldn't stop. But a few people behind me stopper and scooped him and his partner up. I don't know what happened to it. It's so traumatizing

Guys, I work with tech. Don’t you think we are all wearing already our earbuds? We are all so addictive to our phones, fast videos, but most of all, the noises that just our brain can hear and feel! This is already happening! Working with marketing is a war! Even the “sure” mikes they give your voice a really pleasant timber! We can manipulate so much with noises, sounds and music! omg yeah, that's so funny cuz it's so true. neither one wants to be 'the one' who chances the existing relationship. things haven't changed. I (female, thought I was a lesbian but wasnt sure and totally unexperienced), told my best friend (a younger out lesbian), in my thirties, that I had feelings for her. she didnt recipricate. It was awkward, especially as we were on the first day of a 4 day holiday out of town together and it was her car. I bussed home.
