Ngl, just remember people don't choose to be posh; just like you don't choose to be not posh. not saying that the way they act is okay, just saying don't judge them before you know them - just like you don't want to be judged
There's inevitably a lot of near-miss Oxbridge candidates in Bristol. That's not a posh issue so much as Bristol being one of the next-best Russell Group unis. (BTW, I don't subscribe to the idea that RGs are always the best unis, but employers like them, and particularly Bristol.)
i still am undecided between city centre of stoke biship for my first year halls !! i want something social where i can make close friends but within not too long a walking distance
I loveeeee your video. I just found your channel and I'm hooked. The way you described and discussed everything so well🤧🤭. And how you make your videos so fun and interactive. Now if you will excuse me. I'm off to go binge watch more of your videos.
for cheaper food you could shop at lidl/aldi (idk if they have those in bristol) but omg the accommodation is actually quite expensive, similar to London prices by the looks of it
The cheapest student meal is boiled rice with a stock (oxo) cube crumbled on top. You can live like a king or queen and eat chicken, lamb, beef or vegetarian (stock cubes) anytime you want. I know !
Redland isn't that hippy......you obviously have an agenda. I've lived here my whole life and not just a few years. Stokes Croft has always had a bad reputation regards drugs and alcohol abuse
I watched ur videos for the first time. Wooooow they are amazing and useful. The videos u have done recently are very useful to me causing I am also planning to move to bristol. Good luck girl 👧
I was a student at Bristol University many years ago, 1980 t0 1983. My experience was abysmal. The University destroyed my interest in Biochemistry. They had no interest in undergraduates. They ruined the subject for me.
I normally do my groceries shopping at Tesco, Sainsbury, and Asian store(occasionally for Waitrose and M&S), but it only cost me only around 100GBP per month. PS I normally (like 90% )cook myself caz their food I just can't ... lol
I understand if I don't get my bowl of rice I get withdrawal symptoms... my mom is goated dou she gives me the curry in a box that I can slap in my fridge
@Ivan Bezdomny my issue is more, in areas of low diversity as I ve experienced this personally so many people IK have as well, white people tend to make a lot more ignorant comments about ur culture etc and as there is a low promotion of people like u there sometimes many feel like they don't deserve to speak out and say something cause nobody would understand their point of view. As well as the fact, ugly truth is u do feel different to the rest of people there and people DO treat u differently. Its hard to explain this but when choosing a uni u don't wanna feel like an outsider which many white people sometimes do make u feel like
hi, congratulation!!! so i'm working on getting an admission in UWE Bristol for September 2022... wondering if i can get your IG handle to chat a bit about your experience so far?
Nik Shimah yes and no! There are definitely options for halal food! Arabic, Mediterranean foods are delicious and most likely halal. You can get halal chicken at Sainsbury’s if I’m not mistaken. Not going to be a big issue, don’t worry! In terms of diversity, a place like London is way better ofcourse but there are halal options here + Bristol is very vegan and vegetarian friendly.
Curiositi ohmygod thank youu so much for replying!! Im a fresher going to start my journey in Bristol by the end of this month and im a little bit worry but mostly excited to live there😁 and ur videos helped me a lott!! Thank youu
Emily partners can stay but you’ll have to bring them in yourself. Each persons gets one key :) also to answer your first question...Mm, I’m not sure how to answer that but the friends I stayed with all throughout uni were all from my first year accommodation. They were others ofcourse but the ones I stuck by with were my first year accom friends as you get to bond a lot more living together and as Bristol is a city campus, it’s difficult to make friends as people live quite away from each other and people at lectures/tutorials don’t usually talk to one another or become besties 😂

@@speakinfromtheheart223 yeah she did law at Bristol, was obsessed with coffee, had the same editing style, virtually the same opening sequence and comedy style
