I've owned dozens of Striders, I'll refer you to my ebay account. I never mark them up like most people when I list them. My favorite version was the first aluminum chevron pattern version of SMF. I've carried an Sng for years. Also the blade steel doesn't matter. It's fine. Paul Bos says it's fine. Look into his history and decide if he's someone you'd give your hard earned dollar to. A lot of people tend to stay away from him for a very specific reason. I am a veteran myself, and I love strider knives, for what it's worth. One thing is for sure. He is absolutely the single most notorious knife maker in the world.
The more stuff I see you get, the more I feel like my taste in knives is pretty similar! Been looking into strider knives for a while now. Not ready to dish out the money for one quite yet, but I look forward to getting my hands on one in the future! Nice pair!!
You can find them readily available in the secondary. Try the Reddit Knife Swap and their FB groups (Strider Knives Addicts and Strider Knives an Authorized Group). I recommend you try their flagship model the SNG. You can find them anywhere from 400-600 depending on the condition and config.
I'd like to see the brand be produced by a top tier OEM. (WE. Benchmade, etc.) 1. Bump up the quality 2. Add a lock-bar insert to fix the lock stick 3. Make the knife in 3 or more pricing tiers (High Performance steel, Fancy cosmetic upgrades and, Basic 154cm user class) The knife looks like a hard buy if the supply improved and some of the small design issues are addressed. Thanks for the video. 😎👍
Is there authorized dealers for Striders? Because Ive asked around and I feel like the Strider community is hush hush and honesty Im scared to buy from ebay or trade in fear of getting a fake or something like that
Honestly, you should include the link the the BF post about him. That's what people should really know. The fact that he hasnt been laughed out of the community is baffling, especially with all the rah-rah patriotism, and soldier/LEO worship that occurs in the modern knife community. Not that any of that is anything other than performance art. I'm a combat veteran, so I'll never own one.
