Hello. I am facing sscd surgery. And diagnosed with Ménière’s disease. Tinnitus through the roof in my right ear now.ear now also. Waiting on my dr to see if maybe I have the sscd all of a sudden in my right ear also now..or is it the Ménière’s..I have slight vertigo with noise definitely in my left ear because of the hole but not so sure yet with the right ear. So many questions and I keep going round in circles. My dr says more than likely my problems in my left ear should lessen but my right ear is worse in my mind..now you say Tinnitus can be in the head and that’s what I feel I have sometimes straight in between my ears in my brain..I know this is a old post but makes me feel better to at least get this in cyberspace..no one gets it..I can’t be the only one in the world undiagnosed with this..thank you..Conrad Zimmerman.

Thank you for the informative video. I am currently 4 months in to feeling like falling as I get up from lying on either side - day or night - this never goes away... and my tinnitus has gotten worse in the past few months, as well. I will be seeing an ENT on July 6 as that is the soonest I can get in. I hope I can make it. I'm literally in tears about this daily and feel I am getting very depressed. 🤓 Hello, Dr. Ben. My name is Eric, and I'm a Filipino. I've been a fan of yours for over 2 months, and I've also been watching your tinnitus videos. My tinnitus began two months ago. I'm concerned because, in addition to tinnitus, I'm suffering hypnic jerks, which began one week after I was diagnosed with tinnitus, and the sound of my tinnitus intensified significantly more when I withdrew my impacted tooth. In addition, I take 5g of Melatonin, which helps me relax. I know you have a lot of followers, so I hope you notice me. I'd want and hope to speak with you via video call to clear my uncertainties. ✍✍✍✍✍

I have lost my hearing suddenly, just lying in my bathtub, I was sure its nothing bad so I went to sleep but in the middle of the night vertigo woke me up and I was so dizzy that I throw up..I went to hospital, was on blood steroids for 8 days, another 7 days on steroids pills. That didn't help at all...than I had 23 treatments in hyperbaric chamber and my hearing recoverd only in 10% or less...now Im dealing with very disturbing tinning and because of that I will have cochlear implant next year, hope that will help with this constant ringing in the ear😅 Im 33 and got my sterpids in first 15 hours after hear loss so those shoud help, but as I red in some studies about sudden hear loss, its less likely to reator hearing if it goes with vertigo issues. Sorry for my English, Im half deaf from Poland 😊wishing all of you quick recocer from your tinnitus/ vertigo / hearing loss ❤

Thank you for this explanation. . I have been diagnosed with supposedly 3PD. After seeing a functional neurologist. I have been dealing with tinitus since 2013. The 3pd has gotten better through exercises challenging the cerebellum, however, not completely resolved. I am curious does having tinitus alway lead to vestibular issues or this visual vertigo? I'm not sure and don't know if that is something you can answer because each individual is different, I guess. Thank you again for this information I really appreciate your channel

I've had tinnitus since my time in the Marine Corps, back in 1979. I have vertigo which is getting worse. I've been tested by an ENT. No sign of BPPV, MRI was fine, VNG was normal. Not Menieres. ENT sent me to a neurologist, suggesting it could be related to my silent migraines. I've just had an MRA which showed a 90% occlusion of left vestibular artery, before it joins the Basilar artery. Neurologist says my right vestibular artery is dominant and 3 times larger. Damage to left artery was probably decades ago, perhaps military TBI. neurologist says not the cause of my vertigo. I have persistent Afib, going for echocardiogram tomorrow. After that, I have no idea what to do next. It seems no one knows why im having dizziness and staggering. I'm at a loss.
@treblehealth
@treblehealth Месяц назад
We are so sorry to hear that you are going through hoops to get answers. Vertigo can be caused by so many different things so sometimes it can be very hard to pin point where it's coming from. Lack of blood flow can absolutely cause vertigo. We recommend following up with Vestibular Audiologist and possibly a Vestibular Physical Therapist.

I have both tinnitus and vertigo, and when my tinnitus gets worse I get more vertigo. I take acetyl-leucine ( tanganil ) for the vertigo and I noticed it also helps the tinnitus. I read a study: "Acetyl-Leucine slows disease progression in lysosomal storage disorders" Could tinnitus be caused by a lysosome problem, whereby not enough cleanup is done in the cells?
@hf023
@hf023 9 месяцев назад
Is this the same as buying leucine supplement off Amazon ?
@Battery-kf4vu
@Battery-kf4vu 9 месяцев назад
@@hf023 No, acetyl leucine is different. In France it is sold under the name tanganil, if you are in another country ask your doctor. After one year of taking it, I can confirm that it works. It takes about 30 minutes to take effect. It doesn't solve the problem completely but at least it reduces the ringing in the ear. There is another precription drug that works, it's cymbalta, which is cymbalta. Cymbalta is usually prescribed for fybromyalgia and depression. The problem with it is that it is difficult to stop it after. You really feel like crap for like one month after you've stopped. But it reduces the tinnitus. But it doesn't get rid of it long term.

@treblehealth
@treblehealth 10 месяцев назад
Hi there. Though tinnitus and Meniere's disease may coincide they are two separate conditions. When it comes to treating tinnitus, there is no drug that can treat it -- however, there are a variety of scientifically backed treatment methods that have helped THOUSANDS of patients reduce their tinnitus and regain control of their lives. We recommend speaking with an Ear Nose and Throat doctor who can diagnose and discuss a plan for managing Meniere's disease. Keeping a low sodium diet has also been shown to help Meniere's symptoms.
