benadryl is DPH, not DXM, and goes in D tier. deliriants suck, abuse can completely fry you or kill you, trip itself is like a walking nightmare. DXM on the other hand is low A or high B tier, hits a ton of receptors and creates something pretty unique, has a weird nostalgic psychedelic thing going on, cozy like an opiate without any opiate receptor affinity, NMDA agonist like K that gives an antidepressant effect on the afterglow. hella underrated honestly but feels sorta neurotoxic, needs to be moderated like MDMA, dose once every few months max. main downside is that it kinda lasts forever, like upwards of 18 hours. if you take it at night you'll be fucked up through the afternoon of the following day
