I was a cocaine addict and at one point was doing 1-2 8 balls of coke a day, I quit cold turkey, and this is what I experienced.

I started doing drugs since my teenage. Got addicted to cocaine for over 17 years. Cocaine addiction actually destroyed my life. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

Amen God bless people. Save your health save your mind. Life is better without heroin, cocaine, alcohol and cigarettes. And you have more money in your pocket. God bless everyone who has rejected the devils intentions to be addicted to alcohol and cigarettes etc which can cause so much damage to health.

YES sure of Dr.alishrooms. Did straight shrooms in few days. Left me like a blank slate after words, no more addictions, pains, ptsd and depression. Shit saved my life, all thanks to Dr.alishrooms

Ive done shrooms last month in my house. It taught me how severely traumatized I was from alcohol. I healed from many mental traumas from my past and was able to forgive, let go. Shrooms to me is a remedy not a vice. I even felt more refreshed the morning after. So no hangovers. No depression mood for days. No anxiety.I now have a more calm mind

Great to see you talking about this stuff. I was addicted to meth from 16-19, then addicted to weed and booze from 19-25. Then addicted to pills from 25-35. Finally got sober, and have been from drugs for 14 years. I'm still addicted to other things, just not things that are illegal. I smoke, drink way too much caffeine, eat way too much sugar, but here I still am. I don't think the trait ever goes away, you just have to manage, and focus on it. The truth is through all of it, I learned 1 thing. You have to want it.

No physical withdrawal from cocaine. The power of the psychological withdrawal should not be underestimated though. I stopped in an instant. My young daughter standing at the bottom of my hospital bed was enough to achieve that. I was admitted with a potential heart attack. A terribly deceptive drug. Most of us are self medicating. Keep strong.

Addiction is like a little friend in the corner that you can always fall back on, but without it in situations of self-doubt/anxiety you have to fall back on YOURSELF. And that does not come easy. ugh the voices. those are the worst. I'm a recovering addict from heroin. been sober 3 years. I feel that. the routine is very hard to break ... I had to move down south to actually stop and luckily I did. I couldn't get sober up north. I had to create a new routine for myself and get out of that environment. Yes, I agree, it is the best decision to get clean. I promise you, it gets better. it's freaking hard but you can do it. to any addict struggling keep going. it DOES get better ❤️

Never been str8 addicted to any drug. But over the past decade ive come to a slow but obvious realization. Im addicted to addiction. Substance no matter what it is "did and do keep a cap on hard drugs. Meth herion pills ect ive kept at bay after a short stint with adderalls in hs" coke has been a new one. But that was still a few mo ago n its just off n on here n there. Done it various times over the years but cant go on a bing for more then 2 to 3 days. Weird part. When i go completely dry of susbtance "mainly to prove i physically dont need it. Fir reasons of balancing health" But the weird thing is when i go completely sober. I end up affecting my life worse then any drug has. I lose jobs, drop hobbies friends and start self isolating full bore. After a few weeks im in constant pain and overly accuetly aware of my body, heartbeat. Feeling my blood move in my vains. Feeling food and gases mive through my intestines Why am i mentioning this. Idk hoping someone can figure it out. Therapy and pshys have not been much help. In fact after seeing them i fell down the hardest paths i was in. And relied way to much on an abusive relationship. But the buggest reason for doing substance. I cant stand being sober. Anxiety depression, my skin is crawling i just cant get comfotable in my own body Now before ya get worried. I do balance everything out. I watch many videos and do hours upon hours of research for everything "hence finding this vid" if i see any corralation between how o feel and someone who is addicted. I stop and change to something else Recently quit weed and alch. Was a bad binge drinker. But weed was the worst. 4-600 a week for last decade nonstop. Anxiety is down bad. But i feel like it shpuld do me good. 2 weeks sober from it. Next thing to go is nic because my lungs are fcked Either way. Not sure why i listed this. Guess just looking for an external non professional opionion. In which i get more honestly and personal experience i trust more then a study on an age group and time period i dont fall into. Many external factors and drugs dont tent to hit me like most Coke for one slows me down n makes me tired. Relaxed. Ready to take a nap for 6-10 hours Where as to sober im hyper. High energy, cant sit still and avg 3 hours or less of sleep per day. "Recent binge on snow acrually fixed sleep schedule before i parked binge last week" prior to that i had gone 6 mo without more then 3 hours of sleep per day. Occasionally got a 30 min nap in tho So what are your thoughts/opinions on my rambings. Worst case jusy view it as a small study group. I aint looking for help, i got it balanced very well. Mainly just tryna find the why and how to fix. Maybe there is a day when i can do substance fir the sake of doing it "to enjoy n party on" vs a break from life/my head -mental list "as this tends to help understanding" Diagnosed list -got diagnosed at 8- the big 4 ill leave out the other's -chronic/clinical depression Bad enough on sober days i often drift in and out of psychosis -anxiety Peaked around 24 7, biggest thing to send it into panic attacks is timeframes. Even on minute things like when to get a shower before work. If behind on time i spiral instantly -compound post tramatic stress disorder, caused from many different instances. The result is a fck load of triggers that i dont know off hand till they happen. When it gets triggered i step back, leave situation. Calm myself down, come back apologize and make ammenda to any damage caused "usually none due to stepping back" and continue on with work needing done And bipolar disorder. But could also be seasonal depression while living in a state where the season can vary by the day. So some days are manic. Others are low. And some just have unbridled rage "i call off work. Stay home. Work out. N try to relax"

I feel you because im the same i have always been addicted to something but somehow i will abuse whatever im addicted too then i will quit it cold turkey i feel its in our head the feeling of been worry that we are doing something wrong and that we need to be on a mission i have always been strong and battle my addiction and my addictive personality but drugs always end up fucking you up because deep inside of you while your doing them you know your doing something extremely fucked up and wrong but wanna enjoy the feeling of fighting your mind and thoughts and addiction to know that you are in control but trust me im like you but it takes me while to get out of of the new addiction i have hopefully this is gonna my last experience with been addicted to any drug and start enjoying life and be addicted instead to working out cooking etccc stay strong and my advice coke is very tricky you will not know tell u find your self fighting the feeling of wanting it stay strong stay clean ❤❤😊

My ex girlfriend of 5.5 years struggled with dealing with my addiction. If she hadnt left me i wouldnt ever have gotten sober. It took that pain and another 6 months of addiction before i got sober. When i got sober i started to really understand what it was i put her through - she really was alone in our relationship at the end. Ill never forget nearly overdosing puking in my bed completely blacked out while she had to sit there cleaning my puke and holding me up so i wouldnt choke and die on my own puke and waking up having no memory of it - i was in so much denial that i never considered how it made her feel until years later when i got sober. Its taken a lot to forgive myself for it. As far as i know shes happy and im sober now. We all end up where were supposed to be in the end.

I had a problem for a little over a year. My withdrawals were so bad some days even up to 2 months after quitting cold turkey. I kept having panic attacks and feeling like someone was clinching my heart for minutes at a time throughout the day. I constantly felt like i was having heart attacks. The restless legs kept me from being able to sleep so i would smoke some weed before bed. The last panic attack happened while i was driving about 2 months of being clean and i pulled over and started to call 911 because i seriously felt like i was going to die. It did go away with some slow breathing and soothing music. After that day i never had anymore pacic attacks or weird heart feelings. Fast forward 8 years and im still completely sober and my life is great. I thank god every day that i made it through that time . A lot of people dont get that second chance. But my clarity on life and discipline now is one if my greatest traits. If you or someone you love is battling addiction or going through withdrawals it will take time to get better and start with getting help. God bless everyone

@Unwritten7 coke literally almost killed me. I had a real fear of dying from it after I had a slight overdose one day. I forced myself to think that if I even did a little bit from then on that it would kill me. So in my mind I had no choice but to stop doing it. My advice is to first get yourself away from the people that have it or are bringing it into your life. You have to remove yourself from it. Delete your dealer's phone numbers. Then tell yourself every day that if you even do 1 line then you will die. This is what worked for me and got me through the weeks of hell after quitting. I really hope you can get past this 🙏

Right now decided to go cold turkey and going 5th day drug free. Thank god I never stopped exercising and that's what's keep me sane now. Voices in my head are still there but trying to counter act them by reminding myself how much havoc and destruction it brought to my life. Needed to cut off certain people from my life and avoid situations that could trigger use again. I never drank alcohol though so that might make it tiny bit easier

I remember buying it without knowing I had even ordered it. Lucky for me, it started giving major paranoia and mild psychosis after an hour every time I did it. So I was so sick of the paranoia it made me stop. But yeah your brain is very good at getting what it wants so you’ll have these constant conversations in your until you just buy more

I was clean until two days ago. A "friend" gave me a little bag and said go make yourself a line. I couldn't resist and when I saw the powder, I took half of it. I told him I was sorry, I couldn't help it. Seing it turns me into an animal. It becomes an obsession. More, more, more. But I'm not buying. I'm not looking for it. I just keep puting myself in situations where it is offered to me. At the worst of my addiction, I was 55kg for 1m75. I was taking so much coke, MDMA and alcohol my collegues were concerned. They thought I would make an overdose at some point. I had no limits. I don't wanna feel that taste ever again.

I was a heroin addict but honestly preferred the high of coke... Coke literally scared me because of its addictiveness, it's vastly more mentally difficult to quit. I smashed it and coming down off coke really sucks. With heroin I could buy some and not spend more money but coke I spend it all. Most of it chasing the initial high because, nothing, I mean nothing, is better than a shot of good cocaine.

I’m 2 weeks sober from about 3 years of an ounce of Coke every other week. It’s beyond words trying to get past the mental hurdle. The placebo effect of knowing you’re about to get a zip is almost as good as the high itself. The random girls and reputation you get from always being able to provide the party is difficult to leave. I jog 5 miles a day and only cope chemically with benzodiazepines. Lost all my money not on coke but making bad trade investments towards the end of my cocaine career

Did it for 2 years 8 months after a break up. I am 35. One day dealer told me how much he hates his job and ruining peoples lives. I went on a 3 day bender had first panic attack thought I was dying. Scared shit out me! That day I stopped cold turkey, said in prayers wouldn't touch it again, ever. 8 years later clean wouldn't even dream of being near anyone that does it. Its vile. Since I stopped my career has flown, had a gf for 7 years solid, spend time with my family, enjoy the basics of life, nature. How to do it is go 1 week without it, then do another week, then get to 1 month. After that 1st month you feel better and better, stronger, clear thinking. Also, delete those people out your lives that do it. You need to get out of that circle.

I came off large doses of amphetamines (the pharmaceutical kind) and I've come off oxycontin, which was absolutely brutal. With the meth pills, I mean Adderall, the withdrawal was easy (relative to opiates), but the damage to the dopamine receptors took years to recover. At least two joyless years followed. I've heard the same about coke. Although I've used it more than a few times, it was too rich for my pocket book, so I don't know whether it's comparable or not.

I hung out with some hospital people who made some good money and I would do drugs weekly with them, I never bought it cause I was doing it with nurses and Dr's who had money. Yeah, it sounds crazy but a lot of people party like that. I was losing weight like crazy and the withdrawals were the worst. I would hang out with friends in one spot doing coke, then I would go to another party with lines ready for me. Even not talking about coke, I was smoking ciggs non stop and drinking beer with no stop. I'm very lucky I didn't have a serious medical condition.
