i love them too ! not the prices tho 𝟲𝟬𝟬𝟬$ 𝗰𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 (edit: thats why i prefer epiphones tho, but the good ones cost 1000$ 😭😭😭😭 im never gonna find a good lp for cheap man)
It's weird, because Jazzmasters were originally the unloved guitars that you could get for fairly cheap second-hand; a good starter guitar for gigging. Then you could barely give them away. Now, there's a heap of great guitarists on RU-vid using Jazzmasters and Mustangs. They've kinda finally become cool.
@@3rdalbum they have been cool since the late 80's/early 90's, when noise bands like Sonic Youth and shoegaze bands like Slowdive made it part of their signature
I got a sweet deal on my Fender Stratocaster. Story below: My town is small, so naturally, its town square has some antique stores. The square was having some kind of event so me and the family decided to stop by and look around at the anqitue stores. One of them we stopped at had an almost brand new Fender Stratocaster for only $125 (the strings were a little tarnished by the previous user, but still worked fine). I talked to the shopkeeper because I did not believe that a quality electric guitar could sell for as low as $125. He said that the previous owner bought it brand new, didn't use it too much, and was rather insistent about getting rid of it, regardless of the potential profit. The shopkeeper allowed me to tune the guitar and run some tests. It's beautiful. I would have never been able to own an electric guitar if it weren't for small town folk. Moral of the story: if you really want a guitar, check the small town stores and local pawn shops. You may be very surprised by what you will find. 👀
Sounds like I’d rather be alive when dinosaurs were alive than deal with the pressure of having to play the best thing you’ve ever heard 😂 Oddly helped me decide on my next guitar. Thanks!!
ESP: Too far down the Metallica rabbit hole to consider any other options. Jackson (shitting on myself because it’s my preferred brand): You’re an elitist who spent 60% of their guitar playing career trying to learn the Tornado of Souls solo note for note as if Marty Friedman himself would come to personally bless you with his sign of approval. You also recently became a fan of Brandon Ellis.
Yeah, that was some bullshit for sure. Dime was the nicest guy, I meant him 2 times and both times he was insanely friendly. Hell I even have his and Vinnies signatures tattooed over on me.
As a Gibson and a PRS owner, both of you are tripping. PRS costs more? When? Where? How? The same maybe, but USA made PRS is definitely about the same cost wise in all tiers. Shit even Epiphones are even cost wise with the import PRS models
There definitely is lol. And honestly the fact that kid had to go out of his way to make such a little bitchy insufferably opinionated yt short about what he THINKS the type of people are who use those types of guitars is embarrassingly sad. Like dude is too much of a dunce to realize he should be even glad that people are taking up playing an instrument let alone guitar, so why in tf would it even matter what kind of guitar you use to practice with??? I swear to god not everyone deserves a platform bc people just love to run their r-tarded mouths.
Very Sad. At least as good as comparable Ibanez guitars. I have 1990 Pacifica 921M with swamp ash body and Seymour Duncan pickups. It's a beast of a guitar. Luv and Peace.
i have the c7 blackjack sls, the thing riiiiiips. incomparable build quality even in the high end price point why would i purchase from another conpany
Hilarious🙄, you clearly haven't played a bigfoot guitar! There's this one guy who lives way out in the sticks (the literal forest) who is super fucking hairy, (maybe part greek?) And makes these insane guitars. He lives where there are forest fires so every fretboard is flamed and the volume and toan go to 12. Nobody's ever reallt gottena good look at because the only way to place and order is to use a codeword with the texaco employee, he will then put you on "the list" and then it's a waiting game. He doesn't charge money because he's off the grid so I paid in salmon and honey. Great guitars though!
@@TimVonTibor Cowboys do more dope than rock n rollers! David Allen Coe with Dimebag and Vinnie Paul. Great album. Confederate flag all over the album too. Heritage over hate! Cowboys from HELL 🪨 🎸 🤘
I own a squier and honestly don't care that it only cost me £250, it does what I need it to and the reason I own it totally isn't because I couldn't afford a fender Mustang 😅
Good for you brother. I have a Squier jazz bass, and honestly, when i was in the music store,i played both the fender version of the bass and Squier, and to be quite honest, there was no difference in the 2. I actually like my Squire better
Squier slander will not be tolerated. Insane value for money, especially with the sonic line. I can't hate on someone who swears by them even after they get more money and more advanced. Some people just don't like getting scammed by big-name companies asking 3k for a guitar that sounds 3% better than a modern squire. Going with Squier and modding it yourself down the line is the move.
The LTDs are really expensive today as well. My EC from 2020 cost the same as my Esp Eclipse from 2010 and my EII's from 2017-2023 cost double and triple that amount. Pricing is a female dog.
@BeersAndBeatsPDX I was going to send you a nice angry message , but I saw your face on your page, life seems to have been bad enough for you already 😂
I have a Keith Urban LIMITED EDITION # 5*5*/11,100 BLACK with CHROME pick guard it's basically a ( tele deluxe kinda )with a les Paul configuration with 22 frets , rosewood board and decorative inlays and tuna matic bridge locking tuner's . And I think it was made in early two thousands and has artwork of Kieth Urban JAMMING . IT SOUND GREAT AND THE BUILD IS VERY SOLID LIKE MAYBE INDONESIA OR JAPAN MADE ? THANKS FOR SHARING !!!!
I freaking love cheap guitars. The greatest recent innovation in guitars is how good cheap ones have gotten. In the corner, is my heavily modded Harley Benton, with a piezo Floyd rose, two handmade copies of the EVH USA Wolfgang pickups w/ series parallel and single coil controls for each, a tone vise (an improved version of the d tuna), and improved springs and locking nut. It’s both amazing and depressing, because I have almost no reason to buy another guitar. In tandem with my HX Stomp it does everything really well.
Yeah cheap guitars have come a longgg way and I prefer playing my cheapos as well. I got an expensive guitar as a gift and I almost never play it because of worrying about banging it up and lowering its value.
@@carazy123_ Doesn't mean that there isnt a stereotype about PRS players and that what he said is very much accurate. It's just light hearted humor, I play a Strat and I'm not old either but there sure are a lot of old Strat players.. also ye the Schecter and Ibanez one were just bullseyes lol
Damn that's just unfortunate. Pantera has songs about anti racism and attacking radicalism and dime is dead, let's not call him a racist even if it's a joke. The dude was and always will be a legend
Dime was a good friend of mine... and I did not look like him... we just shared the same tastes in metal... oh and by the way... I'm black. So this post is ignorant or just uninformed
Besides... this is the internet and its safe to say anything you want. No matter how insensitive it is without repercussions. Dime was not a Saint but an angry or hateful man he was not.
@@chyosukeful exactly and the man wasn't alloted any time to become a Saint in his later life because of a senseless tragedy. This video is just sad to see
@@chyosukeful he seemed like the type to do that from all the candid videos and little behind the scenes videos I've watched. I think all the BS with Phil and the stuff he's done recently contributes to a bad name as well and overall its just sad to see that dimebag is viewed in that light. Even if he did have room to grow as a person and he said some out of pocket things he didn't have the opportunity to correct his mistakes, he was taken so young. It's just overall sad
