@@TGravy-wp4rc Most lifted trucks never get a scratch in their bed - nobody is hauling anything back there. A lifted truck can't TOW anything, either....not without a heavily modified suspension AND hitch, which is terrible for pulling...a lifted truck is for one thing, and one thing only - for SHOW, which defeats the purpose of having a truck to begin-with. Stop the cap.

Lol exactly. She lost me when she said “if you drive an F150, you probably have dirty hands and listen to Garth Brooks.” You obviously don’t know many people who actually drive an F150. If they have dirty hands, it’s because they deliberately made them dirty so you would think they’re working class guys. Mostly it’s dudes who don’t need a truck but want one that pick the F150. Also lost me when she said the Tacoma is a grandpa truck and there’s nothing badass about it. She’s obviously never seen the TRD Pro. It’s literally the most capable truck in terms of off road performance out of the box. It also signifies that you make some nice money because it’s ludicrously priced… but they’re pretty sweet, especially in the dark green or desert tan color schemes. An F150 is, imo a literal girl’s truck. The guys who actually work with their hands usually drive something pretty banged up. Sometimes they have a nice, clean rig; but whenever they do, it’s clear that they don’t actually do any work that involves using the truck. It’s just their toy. Trucks that actually work for a living don’t stay that nice for long.

Ive taken several F150s to 250k plus miles and used to use them for work (pushing them well beyond their capacity). Now I just own them because I like em and have anything I could possibly need if the need ever arises. Most dependable vehicle ever made.

I have a Gladiator going for over 100k miles, no problems yet but we’ll see. Maybe it’s not a truck, maybe it’s not reliable but it is my dream car and I refuse to regret it.
She's says all this about those 'Trucks'.. Firstly most of those are Not technically considered trucks. Meanwhile, if you are a man that is a 9 or 10/10 & had just 1 from majority of those 'trucks' she mentioned she will still be truckin' along with you.. That's for sure! Lol

The first three are definitely real trucks at least, the last four are more like SUVs, but at least the Jeep and the G-Wagon actually still have some decent off-road ability. It also depends on if you have any of these trucks modded in an actual good looking, useful, and/or totally badass way, and without being TOO overly flashy, but just able to do anything that you need it to, as to which one is the "best" one, but of course that's ALL personal opinion! (Something she doesn't seem to take into consideration, at least not beyond her OWN personal opinion anyway, lol!)
Replaced a ford f150 that left me stranded one yo many times, love my Tacoma, i routinely over load it and pull trailers at the max tow rating and it just loves it

Their is a video of a guy with a 2018 manual transmission tacoma with over 300,000 miles on the original clutch. The gen 3 Tacoma's are every bit as reliable as the older ones.

Lol... if they don't rust away first. My Tacoma had so many issues my kids nicknamed it the Lemona 🍋... what a junk. It spent more time on the dealerships lift than it did in our garage. Sorry but... you may want to rethink the whole "Toyota Reliability" myth. 😅
@@jerryjeromehawkins1712 my dad bought a brand new Tacoma back in 2006 and it's still running completely fine to this, with absolutely zero issues and with over 200k miles on the clock. The only time it's been in the shop is when it got into a minor fender-bender. So, yeah, they're reliable and I don't know what was wrong with yours but my guess is you just don't know how to take care of yours.

Honestly in Texas guys with the trucks are the prize. They are hard working, have manners and treat a woman right. The drivers of the overly expensive sports cars are the guys that are "All Hat and No Cattle" SMH. Lady do your research before making outlandish statements. The dudes know that a lift kit protects the oil pan from rocks, high brush or high waters from a hurricane. It ain't to impress it's for survival.

Being able to pull 6,400lbs, the manual transmission tacoma can pull more than the competition. If you live to drive then a manual transmission tacoma is the truck for you.

F-150 for the win, I’m realtor and a builder. My truck gets dirty and then cleans up real nice for listing appointments 🤑. My dad is from Mexico and when he was a kid he’s family would come and work in America and come back with ford trucks, John Deere tractors and craftsman tools. In his humble opinion all the best stuff came from America! I still proudly own his 86 ford ranger that he bought himself when he started making real money.
@@kevinkrichie Lobos might be made in Mexico, but no F150’s that are sold in the USA are. Also, the V6 ecoboosts that are used in the f150 are made in the Cleveland Engine Plant.

If I were to purchase a brand new pickup, I would probably buy a Tacoma. Aside from the reliability, capability, and other good points, there is one extremely important reason why: available with a stick shift. If I get to pick all the features I want, that's at the top of the list. My truck isn't supposed to make me look badass, it's supposed to do the work I need a vehicle to do, and if possible bring a smile to my face when I drive it. As for it being a grandpa truck, I have more in common with my grandfathers than with most men my own age. As it is, I'd probably look for a used truck. And Tacoma would still top the list.
A Tacoma will run forever. I just gave my 98 to a buddy and bought a 22. Hauls tools, firewood. Drives nice. 4 doors, 6 cylinders and manual Love it. I also own a crane on a Peterbilt. That’s a truck !
I drive a 1999 F-250. It hasn't been washed in a few months and living down a dirt road means it'll look more like the road than the black paint it came with. I have over 250,000 miles on it, the diesel engine is epic, and I own it outright. Not bad for a pickup made three years before the first iPhone was revealed.
I drive a 77 F-150 far from a show truck and I use it for work every day. The only modern tech on it is the stereo and I live in Florida but wouldn't hesitate to drive it to California any day. Not a Garth Brooks fan though, more of an AC⚡DC guy myself 🤘🤘🤘

2006 F250. 6.0. All original. Big Blue as I call her, rust and all, helps me take care of the dairy cattle and crops. More reliable than the "significant other"

It is also one of the fastest gas powered trucks on the planet. It has the highest resale value of any vehicle, and is legendary for its reliability. My Tacoma is a 2009 truck and the local Toyota dealership sent me a letter offering me $14,000, site unseen. And get this, I only paid $27,000 for it. BTW, I am a licensed General Contractor and I haul construction materials and tools all the time.
