The whole family is classic. His dad sponsored me for years with no exposure, and Christian always acts like a long lost friend, but probably can't even remember where he knows me from. Thanks for the fun video!

One of my favorite surfers. Dude is like the Duane Peters of surfing. You would think with as much as he smokes that marlboro would have sponsored him. haha!

Duane is crazy these days..off his rocker..watch his latest youtube videos and ull understand..hes all kind of paranoid and talks about other skaters like trash...skaters that are legends..I think he is hitting the ice pipe too much, he looks and acts like a tweeker now..but Christian is still Christian..solid guy.

Some pretty photography and cool vignette of Christian but wish this went into more about the guy. Always been an gnarly dude and would see him sometimes in Newport. Those original aerials were not only gnarly back then but only he could make them look like that. Lives by his rules. True OG.

what kind of speed you wana talk bout it.? Fletcher is probably one of the most hardcore surfers ever. All types of waves the heavier the better.Surfed with him in late 80s at Mystos. mellow guy

Christian was the inspiration for progressive surfing in the late 80's, He was a hero of mine back then and it is sad to see what he is doing now. Aside from his Trestles win, he could have gone further.

what is and what could have been has always been the question with Fletcher, Beschen, Andino, etc. Living in San Clemente, So Cal for that matter, was a handful in the 80's and 90's. Easy living led to some good times, but it got excessive. Those who were there know!

Saw him in a Carl's Jr. at Big Bear a few seasons ago. The guy is way too gnarly looking to be approached. 'Oh my god Christian, I fuckin loved Wave Warrior and Run 69.
