The reason Ali Jr lost was because he didn’t have the same drive as Baki. Ali never wanted to put his life on the line in order to be the best, the strongest which is what every fighter in this series wants. That’s what Dopo and the others were trying to teach Ali. You gotta be willing to die to be the strongest and Ali didn’t have that in him.
Yeah, it goes back to the Death Row arc, fight until you win or die (to admit defeat is to die) Ali Jr. only fought until the bell rung or his enemy got wounded. Or he himself got wounded. The underground fighters fight until the other guy admits they are their bich. Its submission or death. It's different from the Kaioh tourney where despite the possibility of death it was still a martial arts contest. Except Yujiro and Oliva don't give a f lol In short, Ali Jr. don't have that dog in him
I realized that this Arc was never about Ali.. It was about gassing Baki up for hi,m to take on Yujiro. Ali was built up during the Arc so when Baki easily took him down he was the best
@crisdelgadillo6502 they could have easily put someone here that wasn't American, they simply didn't want this fight to be difficult for baki regardless what nationality the person was. So claiming their hate for Americans is just a coincidence. He wouldn't be ready for Yujiiro if he struggled against him.
@@crisdelgadillo6502 it is a Japanese anime about being a fictionalized martial arts strongest warrior that fights for life and death am i bothered they insult americans? fccccccck no. most americans can't fight or even have basic knowledge. it's just so much easier to pick up a rock, a knife, a gun? that's why you see a LOT of russians and americans in anime will often forego sticking to just their bodies but also employing weapons and even IEDs. the weirdest one was that french dude who had blades randomly throughout his body when he had to "click them" to come out? that just wouldn't work, metal poisoning and infections from being deployed every time and just back in. yes yes its anime. an over-the-top one. but that one really bothered me along with that ridiculous dude sleeping on the wall with his fkn fingertips or the dude in prison trying to wrap his around vital sensory organs to win fights.
The arrogance of Ali Jr (i know thats part of his character etc) but after getting his ass kicked he didnt even go back to try himself against jack who no diffed him. He went in no prep no mental fortitude and got destroyed
