Whatever Happened To The ShamWow Guy? 

His commercials remind me of simpler and better times. They give me a surge of nostalgia.

He also created the "Bitch Slap Chop", which landed him in jail. 😂

I got septic sick in highschool to the point that I homeschooled for auto immune issues and it took a couple extra years to finish. Whilst doing that I became an infomercial specialist and memorization girl during my nightly homework. Seriously. I knew every variation of his and Cindy’s pitches. Glowy dewy, wait they’re more!!! Sham Wow Sham WHAT!!! I ended up in College taking, you guessed it, … digital production and editing. 😂 Vince is a legend. 👍🏻 Thanks for keeping the couch kids company.

Every time I think of him it reminds me of the time my daughter yelled you're gonna love my nuts at Wal-Mart.

It looks like he had a stroke or something, the right side of his face seems paralyzed. Noticable in his right eye and the right side of his mouth.

I knew him in the mid 90s when I worked in Hollywood. He hung around artists like a remora fish, was totally crude and vulgar and a jerk, and seemed to pride himself on being repulsive. His attorney sent me a notification that I was going to be sued over something, I let him know he (very obviously) had completely the wrong person (I had zero idea what he was even talking about is my dim recollection of it) and his response was a personal written letter saying "oh my bad" basically. It was beyond weird. I never called him friend and avoided him. That I even made it onto his radar made me feel vaguely dirty.

If they do a Popeye remake, he's your guy...😉

He should be cast in the next Guardians of the Galaxy film. I don't know why - it just seems like he would really fit-in with that cast.

I saw him do his Shamwow pitch at a 2-3 day boat show in Rhode Island before he got famous on TV. I was impressed with his stamina and enthusiasm since he was on his feet talking while doing his demo all weekend.

He always reminded me of the comedian Jerry Lewis. 🤪

I actually never saw his mugshot so this is interesting. Maybe I did but I forgot I don't know. But interesting to see what is life also had install for him even before informorcials. I like how I made a joke though about him being prison with his sticky commercial when I first saw it. I thought it was hilarious! He just brushed it off like it was no big deal and I'm glad getting his life a bit more together.

My company had a booth a few booths down from one of his salesmen back in the day at a state fair. His girlfriend had a booth directly next to mine, I can't remember what she was sellilng. We chatted all day, hit it off pretty well, and while Shamwow Jr was peddling his wares, I was making out with her in the family bathroom. I have no regrets!

I heard about this dude through the movie. They would sell it on late-night TV. We listened to the same sort of music so took a chance. The movie is absolutely terrible but charming in it's own way. I was so confused by everyone who called him the coked out shamwow guy.
