I wish I was able to document more of my journey, but unfortunately the Esthetics school I attended didn't allow filming. As I transition my career to become fully licensed I hope I am able to shed some light, give tips, and basically be the go to person on everything Esthetics. Lets GO! Whats in my bag? Celebrating my Birthday 🎉🎊🥰📽️🎂💯‼️🎉 thank you for making this video even though I'm not in the state of New York it helps to be able to see somebody pack an actual kit. I like to know what kind of creams do you put in your moisturizer what antiseptic did you use for your toner?? How many towels did you have to pack.. were you allowed to do your exam with gloves on? I've been told by my state board assistant directors that Michigan is going to become virtual testing starting November of 2022 and I can't wait so therefore we can take the practical inside of our own homes!!!🥰🎊😉📺💯‼️ Were you able to take yours in person or by virtual testing? Are you thinking about going back to get your instructors license since that's where the real money is 🥰🤔👌🏼🐯✨😎 thank you for making this video congratulations on being new Series💯‼️👌🏼📽️😇📺

Omg woohooo !! HAPPY BIRTHDAY !! Hope all your wishes came true 🥰 In terms of what type I used it literally doesn’t matter at state board. I got everything from the dollar store. For moisturizer I used Nivea and antiseptic I used witch Hazel. I packed I believe 2 hand towels I don’t remember. Everything I put in the bag in this video was literally all I took. To be honest I didn’t even use everything in the bag! Here in NY we took our test in person with a barbers head. I herd that testing in general for esthetician will be changing. Hopefully NY goes virtual too. As for my license. I’m pretty happy right with what I have m, but who knows 🤷🏾‍♀️ maybe that might be a possibility one day. I appreciate your support and love ! @@Gracefullyshauna can you do a video and let us know if you're going to ever consider being an instructor I think you got what it takes 🤔🥰💯👌🏼🙋🏻‍♀️💯‼️🥃😎 I would also like to know what are the pros and cons now that you have gotten your license??? The one thing I've always heard in many states that they start estheticians off with 11 to a Max of 15 an hour some of the worst places I've been seeing over 3-4-year period on RU-vid is always Ultra and Sephora👎🏼🤧🤬🥴🤷🏼‍♀️😯👀📺💯‼️ I think when you have to pay somebody anywhere from $7, 000 to $17,000 just for esthetician no one should be being paid in my opinion less than 25 an hour. Because you are a licensed esthetician. Have you thought about taking up other things such as manicuring barbering Hair braiding or electrolysis which will really help you in the long run??🤔🥰💯‼️ Congratulations and thanks for a beautiful video enjoy my birthday month 🎂🎉✨🎊📽️😇

@@monie2514 I can definitely make a video ❤️ im not sure if I will ever be an instructor, but that’s something that I am considering. Right now I am getting paid about 62k or 65k a year as an esthetician. At first I didn’t know my worth and did work in other places that tried to exploit me. but luckily I stood my ground and left. You will find places that don’t treat estheticians right or pay them the bare minimum. You just have to search for the ones that do care about us. I cant say where I work but as a starting esthetician they get paid really good. Like you’ll feel financially comfortable. You just have to be patient and know your worth. You also have to keep an open mind. I do lymphatic massages right now.

Definitely look into it! I did partial financial aid and part student loans. I only had to pay like $500 out of pocket.

Hey girl quick question sorry to bother! When you said either oil or cleansing cream did you mean as an Massage cream? Cus i got confused that its lotion

Sorry for the confusion, and your not a bother! I just meant anything that you can use to massage the facial area. It can be oil, lotion, massage cream.

Hey sweetheart thanks so much excellent video I am struggling and I was wondering if I can reach out to you somehow that I can explain the struggle that I’m going through due to the language to understand the whole process of how to prepare myself with this exam I am done with the school that was a struggle as well because of the language thank God there were three wonderful girls who help me through and I was be able to graduate. Unfortunately those three girls won’t be able to help me to explain anything to me because I did the school back in Maryland now I am in Long Island New York and the have no idea how things work in here NY. I am doing both test in here the amount of hours are exactly the same so that won’t be a problem. And the only reason I can tell you all this is because I have auto correction in my phone. Please please please help 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I took the state boards practical already and honestly its pretty easy! I will be making a video detailing everything i did and took. Just keep calm and follow instructions. They tell you what to do and you should be fine !
