Omg this is so helpful, I went to school and completed the program 2 years ago and planning on taking the practical and written test in 2 months! The process the same in Georgia? And what would you advice for the written test to get prepare for?
I’m glad you find it helpful! I am not sure if the process is the same in Georgia, I would suggest contacting your state regulatory board for testing bulletin information. For the written I would also ask if there is an outline bulletin, in Texas they give an overview of topics and I encourage reading over those topic chapters. I also have some practice exams on Kahoot - search username AshleyNCamp. They are Texas based however may be helpful to you!
Its been so long since ive needed to do a practical, so sorry if this is a stupid question.... We'll have live models right? or did they switch it to mannequins? (I had to do mine like 3 years before COVID, so not sure if thngs have changed lol) Also, is there no tweezing part to the soft wax section?
Hey girl there is no live models just the mannequin and we don’t tweeze in the wax section now lol we also don’t have the lash application step anymore hope this helps
@@adoseofrosa5524 Wow, i'm currently preparing to take my practical and I read your comment. Thank you for your comment, I was wondering why she didn't go to that step and went straight to cleansing.
Literally setting u up for failure . U don’t need to tone or use a steam towel after every service . I need a kit not a big ziploc bag . When the blood exposure incident happens u need to double bag it and set the bag upright to throw everything in there . Smh
I agree with the blood exposure section of your comment but overall, she did do a decent job with the test, she probably would get a few points off at the least but failure..I don't think so. Those extra things she did like toning are recommended since there's so much time in between the sections. Can't be seen just doing nothing.
