Hi @mikeholt5118 thanks its kind of a scaled down, better planned, not so stressful version of the Japanese week i did back in April which was fun but a nightmare at the same time. glad you are enjoying it.
ANOTHER GOOD REVIEW ANDY,LOOKING AT ALL THE DIFFERENT AIRCRAFTS USED BY THESE COUNTRIES ,IT'S NO WONDER FRIENDLY FIRE WAS A COMMON OCCURRENCE. TAKE CARE AND MODEL ON
Fokker XXI Please.Hi Andy you're not by any chance a firefighter,it's the four on four off that makes me think that,my brother was a water squirter until he retired about ten years ago, cheers bud keep up the good work love your irreverent style of delivery
hello there @martinmountford3281 and thanks for watching. your vote for the "little fokker" has brought him level with the Fiat and the hawk.....the morko is only one behind. nope not a water squirter i work in logistics-stock control a fancy way of saying i work in a warehouse LOL. Thanks my style of delivery LOL....... i wear mismatched pairs of socks, they are not odd they are carefully selected mismatched from pairs, that are worn (same colour different design) or (same design different colours) this sort of crapola says much about ones personality :PMSL.
hello there @geofschofield7963 got to be honest no idea what a park flyer foamie is, going to have to google it, i have a couple of early build spitfire nasty's that i intend to attach to some fireworks come November 5th though.
Hello there @richardmerrick-uf7bl and thanks for watching, thanks i just find the smaller WW2 euro air forces more interesting than the standard RAF, USAF and German, there s a coiuple of recent vids up that try to describe the hows and whys. Next week will be either the Romanians or the Swedes.
Hi Andy. The little Fokker is an interesting looking aircraft. It looks a bit FW 190 in side profile don't you think ? There's not much to the kit but its old so what do you expect. I do like the Dutch markings version , I never knew that they painted the undersides brown , strange. So the kit shouldn't pose you any problems I think. Good video. Good luck bud.
Hi Brian yes i gues the "little focker" does resamble a FW190, yes this is a relatively easy kit, i have a harder Special Hobby also, but lets just say this and the G-50 are sleeper kits, if one of the harder ones is picked i can probably build one of these relatively easily as an additional. yes Brown undersides on the Dutch, kinda weird
hello there @Susiartturi64 and thanks for watching, if this one is picked i think my intention will be to follow the colour scheme of one of the two i picked out in the book and then amend the serial number to suit that particular aircraft, the tail number of Major Magnussons aircraft would seem to be relatively easy to create also.
I like PM kits because of their "pocket money toy" kind of nature. Not particularly detailed, some questionable mould quality and features, but generaly fairly simple to build and great for practicing new techniques or skills on a model that can be built into a reasonable representation of the actual machine ... If you wanted a "serious" model, naturally other manufacturers may have that covered but that will be represented in the higher prices
Hello there @ModelMinutes and thanks for watching, i have previously built (badly) a PM Spit which i know you have built also and a Pioneer 2 which is a re-box, hoping this will come out a bit better, though probs not at your level yet LOL. i have two more of these "little fockers" a Special hobby and a rather cute 1950's-ish Triang so one for the Dutch and one for the Danish to do at some future point.
Hey Andy, ever heard the old joke about interviewing an old ace with punch line " no other Fokkers were Messerschmitts" :-) . Looks like my vote for the Hurricane is out of the game, put a tick mark by it for me.. I do like kits that put the box art picture in as extra. Cheers. Looking back at the model channel you mentioned as a good reference was it " Scale mates"? Cheers Bob
Hi Bob Yep Scalemates, bit clunky, play around with it a bit and works good, lots of things i haven't looked at on it yet, just really use it for kit history. Hurricane if 4th shame it'll get built at some point though. going to have to re-read that joke when i get up later, been to work, been 24 hours since i got up, brain is mush LOL. be seeing you.
Hi Andy. Sorry I'm a bit behind with your vids, but i get the jist with this series. Loving this 'Big Plan' by the way! 👌 Do i need to say which kit on the first vid which you showed them all or any of these unboxing vids? They are all decent, or interesting or both!
hi Bobby thanks the BIG PLAN has been fermenting for some time now, hopefully kinda explains all the kit buying PMSL, i am keeping an eye on all the messages so put your selection where ever, the Fiat and the Hawk are pretty much neck and neck at the mo, the Morko Lorane review will be up in a bout 6 hours and is the last one, back in work for 4 nights now so the build will be on my next days off. cheers
@@TheNoviceModeller cheers Andy. I love the Armahobby Hurricane, love the Hurricane and love Armahobby too! It's a bit normal I suppose compared to the others, but hey, you like what you like! 🤔🤣 Whatever wins will be great to see you build mate 👍 Take it easy Andy Be seeing you.......
gotta be honest its a rather nice looking kit, the only Arma hobby i own though after the camera was turned off i was straight onto ebay o check what else they had, i'll put you down for the hurricane then .
@@TheNoviceModeller yes cheers mate. I've got a 1/72 2c and a1/48 2b, and they are superb kits. Loads of detail so not quick to build but they go together really nicely. I'm thinking of selling some older, not so nice kits and buying one or two more of these sort of newer manufacturers. My stash isn't that big, certainly nothing like yours but definitely need to thin it out a bit! Back to work myself now, just been watching you while I had my break! 👍😁 Laters! 👊
Mörkö Morane (Monster Morane) is most interesting out of all Finnish WW2 fighters, because Finns managed to boost its performance with captured Russian engines, and extended its service capability way beyond what it really was performance vice...
Hello again @jukkasavolainen5620 i did wonder what it meant, google translator just spat the same word out, according to wikipedia it also translates as Bogeyman and bugbear? the Morko's review will be up shortly, and i will be building the one with the most votes in the comments section in about 4 days.
@@TheNoviceModeller Yes they used Klimov M-105P engines on it, which provided 1100 HP instead on original 860 HP, and the boost in performance made it a "Monster", that is the history behind the name😄
Well perhaps, if i ant cross reference it to the book iw ill mark it up MS631, if it wins LOL, currently it ha taken the lead by one vote, which way will you be voting @jukkasavolainen5620 ?
I'm still going to wait for the full runners and riders before casting my vote, but this one is certainly a contender. Please forgive me for now going on a bit. I think you will realise that I enjoy and want to support your channel with 'thumbs ups' and comments, and I hope that your Big Plan works out financially with the meagre payments made to content creators by youtube. From a personal perspective, I know that you have amassed a great quantity of 1/72 scale WW11 aircraft and many of them are very interesting. However, I don't really want an unrelieved diet of that sort of kit for many months ahead, and there is a risk that you might lose subscribers and followers if you don't mix things up a bit. I know from previous videos that you have considered subjects like motorcycle combinations - which would definitely interest me - and you have plenty of kits in 1/35 scale. I would like you to consider interspersing the 1/72 aircraft kits with other subjects before too long. Apart from motorcycles, there are plenty of other contenders that you could put up for viewers' choices: ones that come to mind include: ambulances, scout cars, armoured personnel carriers, ground support vehicles and staff cars. These subjects would appeal to modellers who make dioramas and could broaden the base of your following, maybe attracting even more subscribers. Sorry to be long winded, and feel free to disagree with me completely - it's your channel and your prerogative.
Hi @georgeclements2742, i'll be doing a reminder vid about 24 hours before closing the vote which will probs Saturday night, i am off sunday (a sleep day, i work nights) to Thursday morning so hopefully i'll get it finished. no worries George i will definitely be introducing the 1/35 collection; the current plan is Finnish, Romanian, Swedish, German Jets, then a 1/35 after that, i will then probably try to do it at roughly a 3-1 ratio and as the aircraft selections become weaker and more importantly my 1/35 confidence increases, it may become 2-1 within a year LOL, PMSL, FML, what have i got myself into? ha ha ha. will be starting it with things like motorbikes, jeeps and flowing into some harder stuff, very much along the lines you have suggested ie trucks of all nations, early war tanks, later war tanks, etc etc though am planning to do some by country theme also. i need a bit of time to get my head around doing this and the 1/72 aircraft i am pretty familiar with now, so hopefully within a month of relatively easier stuff i will have found the "groove" so to speak. thanks for your input regards andy be seeing you.
Hello there @jukkasavolainen5620 and thanks for watching. the Buffalo isn't missing its just being saved for another day, i have about 20-25 aircraft with decals for the Finnish air force and about another 10 that can be, so i will be returning with another set shortly, this set of 7 features an aircraft supplied by seven different nations and unfortunately i decided to do the Hawk over the Buffalo. i have similar sets for a whole host of other different Smaller WW2 era air forces and will be visiting roughly one a week with a set of reviews, asking you guys to select the one to build, for as long as it takes to get through my collection, so the Buffalo will gets it time in the limelight.
