Man, I'm 60 years old and I'm still struggling with my hair loss. Most of my top hair has fallen to my back. I wasn't hairy on my back till I started losing my hair on top. I do have long hair on my sides & back. I just don't have the courage to shave my head.

Just go for it! I first shaved my head at 48 years old and was receding. Ten years on when I grow stubble I look bald on top... you don't notice you are going bald until more than half your hair is gone and for years I was able to make it look pretty good but there is no point in hiding your hair loss it is always best to go with it and embrace it. Its popularity these days is obvious everywhere you go

I do it with a Fusion 5 on the shower without any type of oil or shave cream. Simply pull the skin wherever you're about to shave and be gentle...

Shaving cream using any good quality razor But first go to the barber and tell the dude to shave with machine then shower and if you can do it there

You don't need to put cream on your balls to shave them. When ur in the shower, lather up some white soap (or any soap/conditioner), and shave away. Your ball sack is tough, don't worry about cutting them, you won't. Don't use clippers to zero the hair off, you might nick your sack with those!

Been shaving my head since 2012, always in the shower. Takes me about 5 or 6 minutes normally. Thanks for the tip, I will try this out Edit: got it in the mail yesterday and tried it out. This is amazing. Took me two minutes and my head hasn't felt as smooth in a long time

I prefer the "stubble bald" look personally, I think it suits me better. I just use an electric shaver for mine. Good video though man, it's always interesting to see new products.

I would agree with this, especially if you still have a lot of hair toward the front. My problem is not that my hair is completely gone, but that it has thinned a large amount since high school, so rocking any kind of hairstyle is limited. Shaved with electric does the job.

The one I use is called the "Remington XR1410", it's designed kinda similar to the Bald Eagle Skull Shaver... But all the reviews for the Skull Shaver said that it breaks all the time. I use the shaver on my head 2-3 times a week, depending on what kinda stubble I want. EDIT: I realised it was a slightly different model. So yeah, XR1410.

I don't use a mirror tho...I use the touch method. 1. Step one, shower whole body. 2. Step two: exfoliate face and head using Head Shed. 3. Step three: shave using Head Slick. 4. Step four: protect using Head Clear with a few dabs of Argan oil. 5. Step five: be sexy AF.

Disposable BIC razor, upwards from the neck. Just shave where you feel roughness until you head feels totally smooth. Easy.

Good one! I started shaving mine in my early thirties. Was balding on my crown and thinning up top. Luckily, my head type is perfect for a shave, and I get way more compliments today, from men and women, than I did when I had a head full of hair. I agree with clipping everything short, then shaving it. I start with a washing of my face and head (with a quality cleanser), then I use a cold bath cloth to wipe over my head before I do any clipping. I clip it short, then wipe off my head with the cold cloth again. The cloth picks up the hair that has been clipped already and has stayed stuck on my head, and the cold temp of the wet cloth causes the remaining hair to stand up, preparing it for the shave. I then use a shaving cream or gel to ready the scalp. After that, I swear by a Mach 3. I always shave with the grain to avoid and cuts and irritation, even if it means I shave over a second time. I try to shave twice a week, and my Mach 3 blade lasts 4-6 weeks. I never use the same blade on my face. That's a separate razor. And when I am done with my shaving, I use a warm cloth at the end to wipe it all down. Very soothing. Those are my tips!

Ya but my hair is the most neon silver white color you’ve ever seen, so any amount of root left still looks crappy, especially if my scalp is tan in the summer, and makes me look older.. I’m stuck with old fashion shaving cream and razor.. eh, takes about as much time as styling my hair if I grow it out. I’m looking into lasers..

Before Bruce there were guys committing suicide because they were going bald because baldness was not acceptable in a gynocentric society. Other vids suggest using a Double Edge single razor. Apparently they are better than cartridges and help in reducing razor bumps. Idk .... So many great videos out there including yours. And some use the old school Brush and lather . Instead of using a shaving Gel.

Hydro 5 and your run-of-the-mill Gilette shaving gel here. Takes maybe 5 minutes every 2-3 days. I feel with my hand when I'm shaving the back to make sure I got it all. Easy peasy.

I've been shaving my head for 30 years and tried many different razors. The one thing that is a constant is, shaving in the shower. If you take a decently warm to hot shower you wet your skin really good and apply your shaving lube. This makes for an easy shave because the steam helps keep the hairs soft for both head and face. I've tried razors similar to the one your advertising and they were the worse razors I used but the one your advertising is a bit different and I'm always looking for something new! Ordered! We'll see how this razors works out!

I have sensitive skin so I use an andis slim line every other day, a Panasonic electric shaver if I need to look cleaner and only shave when I need to look sharp.

Your video inspired me to try the halftime razor. In the past I have used my electric razor, but it took a long time. Also, I have a lot more territory to cover, I'm not going bald, I just shave my head for cooling during the summer. Going to an unairconditioned gym in Texas during the summer is brutal, particularly for an old man like me.

I have very sensitive skin on my head. If i use that half time at the speed Rich is going my head would be on fire the next day with bumps burning like hell. I have no choice but to go ALWAYS with the grain and very gently. Excellent video!

I have been shaving my head on and off for about 3 years. Best advice I can give is to shave 95% of your head without a mirror. With a mirror you focus on what you can see, more than what you can feel. Without the mirror you are only focused on what you feel. So then you can sense the blade clogging, or skin being irritated if you are using too much pressure or going too fast. I just use the mirror at the very end to clean up the line at the top and bottom of my beard. I get much less skin irritation and never get bleeding cuts when shaving without a mirror.

Shave it in the shower after scrubbing down easy peasy. You can even use cheap conditioner instead of shave cream/shave butter. Don't over complicate it just get it done.

Use an electric head shaver. It takes fraction of the time and you avoid the cuts to your scalp that you get with a wet shave.

Looks good my man! Being 24 and balding myself, I prefer to keep a short trim (~3mm) in combination with a short and accurately trimmed beard (7mm) - it looks quite nice. Requires a lot of maintenance though.

Thanks for the video, i have a well shaped head and im going bald, 4 fingers gap from my eyebrows up. i shave my head and have a beard but recently i noticed ive got adult acne. and its become a drama to beat. So ive been wearing a hat that i reclutantly have while my acne flair up goes away. ive got good creame now its just another battle to add to the list. My brother said who cares if your bald. easy for him to say since he has perfect hair at 49

I used to use Gillette razors but I was just going through them so fast it was becoming very expensive to shave my head so now I just use a disposable BIC razor, cost £2 for a pack of 10 and I use them about 5 times each so its literally around 4 pence every shave. How much use do you get out of Half Timers??

Ive shaved my head a couple times and man was it a PITA, took half an hour to do a shitty job. i would throw away most of your cosmetics like deoderants and shaving creams in favor of natural soaps that are not chemical soups with ESTROGENIC castrating properties. I literally upped my testosterone by 225 to 320 % JUST by going natural food wise and toiletry wise

Hi. I live in the UK. Just had a look on Amazon UK and Ebay & there's nothing like a half time razor on them. I'll see if the link site will sell to UK if shipping not too silly! Thanks for tips & video though. A year ago I had an ugly grey mole like thing removed so I could shave my head, but am still working up courage to do it, plus worried about how hard it will be to maintain. Also because of hair loss I doubt if I'll get that grey all over stubble look & am scared its going to look too shiny, & I'll get all the polish jokes! If I can take hassle out of it with something like the half time maybe it'll encourage me? If it helps get the ladies---even better! Who loves ya baby!

I'm 48 and for some reason for the last 5 years i get razor bumps on the lower back of my head. I never used to. Been shaving my head for years. Is there any cream or ointment that cuts down on those bumps?

I used to have the bumps at the back lower neck and they are all gone. What i did, let the hair grow, and then shave. Visit a skin specialist and they will prescribe creams you can use. The aftershave bump creams you find online or in the stores don't work and are a waste of money. The other thing is note the direction you are shaving. I don't use razors, as they were the reason i was having pimples. I shave with bald wahl clippers or andis and finish off with skull shaver. Main point: understand your skin for the best options

I will say that last winter i grew out my bald head and just wore a hat for awhile but when i shaved it off again i had bumps..i was stunned...thought for sure i wouldn't have any bumps or ingrown hairs. I have to say....as far as women go.....i found since i started shaving my head, the Interest i got from the Ladies has died right off. I used to be semi successful before that. I was under the impression that the ladies loved a shaved head....but from my experience...the opposite is true. Im still shaving my head though :)

There are products for shaving that help with sensitive skin. I've found that warming the skin properly leads to less irritation. When I say that I mean applying as warm of water as you can stand to lift the hair follicles up. Then apply a small amount of water (enough to see small water droplets) before applying shaving cream/oils. I personally like the oil based products. It's also important to add a moisturizing lotion afterwards.
