@susansheartstrings The trick is very little water. Water from the bottom in a pan once a week.They will drink what they need. They like a Eastern exposure window is the best. But my pink one is in a southern exposure set back from the window. You can also propagate new plants from a mature plants leaf. They bring a pop of spring color & easy to grow. I wish you lived closer as I have about 10 new baby plants I have going right now that I could give you to try.

I love Aldi but have to drive 45 miles to get to my closest however a new one is opening soon a little closer to home in a town we regularly visit so I’m super duper happy!
