Another great Ep. I want to go over the breathing section a few times. Re balance, my other favorite tools are the Vew-Do balance board (you can rock like a snowboard) and the slackbox (sort of mimics a slack line)
Nice Dave! Glad you enjoyed this episode :) we had a vew-do style board in our training room at UC Berkeley. For sure is great for balance and recovering from injury. Another one of my favorite things to do for all balance boards is to use them at a standing desk throughout the day. After a while of working, you forget you are using balance at all!
I switch between matcha and coffee. I definitely get a different type of energy boost from it than coffee… less jittery and more smooth. But it depends on what I need because sometimes I need the more intense coffee pick me up… Have you done any research on different types of milk? Almond vs soy vs whole vs fat free vs oat milk? I like soy (matcha latte with Soymilk from Starbucks is my jam) but I’m hearing it may not be great for women… Would be interested to know your take at some point.
Agreed. It depends on what you need. I also enjoy coffee for the more intense pick me up, more morning time-ish. And green tea/matcha tea for after lunch seems to be a good caffeine combo for me at the moment. I have not done any milk research but that’s a great suggestion! I will explore that soon. Thanks 😆
