I agree A special mention Ragi is very high in essential amino acid Tryptophan so it’s a mood enhancer. I think Ragi also keeps you fuller Bcz of complex carbs, I dunno if it’s just me, but i definitely feel fuller when I eat Ragi as opposed to rice or wheat.

Whole wheat is high in fiber - but refined wheat contains almost none. The fiber content of whole-grain wheat is 12-15% of the dry weight As they're concentrated in the bran, fibers are removed during the milling process and largely absent from refined flour. 100grm Wheat flour provides 1.2 grm of fiber where as millets as 8- 12 % fiber ..... wheat has gluten and Millet is gluten free.wheat has High glycemic index which can spike blood sugar in less time.millet will release glucose into blood stream slowly and steadily as an when required this can not create glucose imbalance.. Wheat can lead to diabetes.millets can reverse diabetes... Wheat and rice is considered as negative grains Millets are considered as positive grains bcz it has the potential to cure diseases...you don't have any knowledge on Millet... positive Millets are foxtail,kudo, little Millet, barnyard Millet, brown top Millet. Ragi,bajra,jowar is neutral Millet and Wheat and rice are considered as negative grains...if Wheat and rice was best then why do people suffer with diabetes when rice and wheat is healthy Why is it causing glucose imbalance.. Stop spreading wrong information..

Its not the issue of whole wheat or rice. Its about the balance plate. In india, Average house plate look like Potato Curry(High carb food), Rice(high carb food),Whole Wheat Roti(high carb food) and Dal(which is also high carb and protein source).Not only that Indian aunties puts oil religiously for just small portion of curry and also putting ghee in roti. So, As you can see its not the fault of Whole wheat and Rice. Its about unbalance plate The plate i mentioned above is include 55% carbs, 40%fats and 5% protein which is just unbalance plate which is the main reason of Dibetic issue😂😂. The balance plate should conclude calories like 40-45% Carbs, 30% Fats and 25-30% Protein. I can show some examples of balance plate with indian cusine style if you want to know?

The carbs in millet is comlpex and released slowly. And you feel full for Longer. It doesn’t spike your blood sugar straight away as white rice or maida or bread products etc. insulin resistance is the main cause of inflamtaion and many diseases. Also gluten digestion is not possible in human body.

While i like to correct you wheat and millet may have same amount of protein but wheat are very low in essential ammio acids and millet can ne combined with legumes to make complete protein So wheat are inferior to millets

Yes this true at nutrient level , and no one should think rice and wheat are bad for you . They are not thr enemies but diversity in diet helps diversity of gut bacteria so we should introduce millets in diet but not replace wheat and rice entirely millets. In addition to this millets should be season appropriate. Dont start looking for Bajra in summers

Sir I am diabetic type2...I try to avoid wheat as it makes my tummy like balloon.....😢😢😢 I don't mind millet but need to learn different varieties how to cook it.😊

Very well said sir, agar millets ka itna jyada propoganda ho raha hai tho saare log khayenge obviously matlab woh log Jo afford kar paate hai ,inke rates dekhe hai , 1 kilo millets almost 150₹ se 200₹ hai , so kaun si class Wale kha sakte hai😢 arre jab millets itne faydemand hai tho rates ko aam logoke ke liye daam ghataiye, tab saare log wahi khayenge 100%😅😅

Its because of our mistakes, wheat was introduced to us by Britishers and we make it our primary food and left eating millet but still you visit many villages you will find peoples eating bajra and juvar roti

Sir jab wheat ki roti banate hote na, tab oil ka use karna padta hai , lekin millet ki roti ko banane ke liye oil use nahi kiya jata , aur digest hota milet ki roti aur acidity nahi hoti hai ..... Millet is to much better than wheat
