One time I was having a really good trip with my eyes closed, and my ex was watching some nature show. The music was getting really intense like it was building up to something, and around the same time I became very aware that one of my legs was on top of the other. As the music grew more epic in the back, I thought they were celebrating my special leg on top 😭😭

I was a pretty bad alcoholic. Falling down the streets and passing out, getting arrested a couple times a year, 3DUIs etc. I decided after 8 years of sobriety to do mushrooms as a form of therapy. Much to my surprise, I found I was no longer an alcoholic. I could drink in relative safety. Furthermore, I'm not attracted to alcohol the way I was and only drink maybe four times in a year. I don't get shit-faced the way I used to and it's been that way for the last 12 years.
@@erikarabie my health and happiness got so in the gutter that I really can't explain what happened but May 1st was just the final straw. I felt something changing in me in April and in May it was full on. April was miserable because I was conflicted and still drinking here and there but I knew that I needed to put it down and buy May I was full-blown water fasting. (I used April to tone down my addictions like weed alcohol and coffee and then clean up my diet and do small fasts like two and three days to prepare) did a few more smaller fast and broke day 8 of a water fast yesterday with three cherries each hour for four hours. I had the intention of refeeding for the next 2 weeks because the pain was pretty bad but I wasn't drinking the right water and I should not have been eating salt so I have to kind of start over. I'm not really hungry yet so I'm not sure if I should just continue my water fast the correct way with spring water sipping it every minute or so or if I actually develop hunger I may eat for a few days nutritious fruits and maybe eventually some leafy greens all raw. Something inside of me just kind of shifted and it's very spiritual thing and I've been recognizing what all my dreams meant because separately they confused me but they actually all go together with what's about to take place. Last night I had another prophetic dream the kind of makes me want to just continue water fasting. Previously going to the grocery store or liquor store was literal hell but I went today and did not even have the slightest hunger or desire for anything at all in fact I was absolutely utterly disgusted and repelled by it because I see what it's doing to our health and our clarity of mind
My mans literally referring to the subconscious ritual "game" red door yellow door if I'm not mistaken. Literally a mental space accessible through group chants many people prove its real, but the doors are weird or scary or what u need etc etc, it's your subconscious mind. He can't perceive this so that makes sence tbh

Dude obviously didnt understand the purpose of the question. Sir, what we want to know, is whether or not you can "see" on psychedelics. You answered in the form of an analogy. Talking about the doors in the hallway. But what we want to know is if you can suddenly see and distiguish colors. Do those colors take on the shape/form of physical objects that you feel like you could reach out and touch. Do those objects have texture. And if so, how do you perceive them?
This just raises more questions than it answers... when he says hes in a hallways with doors, does that hallway look like an actual hallway, do the doors look like actual doors? How does his mind know what to show him if hes never seen these things?
I imagine it would be the same as how in his own house, he *knows* where the doorways and stuff are. In his trip, he probably just *knew* or *understood* that there were doors there in a corridoor

I remember having some minor surgery years ago and at that point I had never done any kind of drug at all. I didn't even drink small amounts of coffee or alcohol. They hit me with an intravenous dose of shrooms and I felt so good, so positive, and so thoughtful that I felt like I could've talked Hitler out of a wagging war.

So back in the early 2000's me and some friends were going to see queens of the stone age, my friend drove his small pickup and i sat in the very squished backseat for the trip to I think either at the hollywood bowl or the forum which is like 1-2 hours away depending in traffic. I brought some shrooms with me and took them when we were about 30 minutes away from the event .. Within minutes of eating them we hit gridlock so bad we ended up not going to the concert... Being in the cramped back seat as my interruption of the world changes drastically, It dawns on me that Im being punished for my previous transgressions and now must live out the rest of my days in a uncomfortable cramped backseat while the two people in front of me enjoying and reveling in there silver spooned led existence while I sit curled up in a ball existing in limbo in the extended cab courtesy of toyota. At some point I realized my butt had gone numb so I ran my hand over my butt to check if was still there which it was to my relieve but I discovered a pretty sizable lump below my cheeks so obviously I came to the conclusion that I had shit myself and there was absolutely nothing i could do about it. Long story short it was just my balls... Its nice to know that blind people have simiiar experience on mushrloms. *.end
They don't see anything. Even in their minds they cannot create images. It doesn't matter if you have been blind since birth or recently blind. So he is totally full of shit. This all may be due to neuroplasticity changing the brain.
I use a metal cannabis grinder to powder my mushrooms. Then put it in a mug with boiling water. Let it steep. It makes it easier to throw it down the hatch.
It also shortens the trip significantly while intensifying the comeup. Personally don't like it. Eating them gives you a nice slow start and a long trip. They taste like shit, but that's the price. Your favorite yogurt makes a good palette cleanser. Munch a bunch down, eat some yogurt, swig some juice, repeat until the mushroom pile has disappeared.
@@urghey990I never actually minded the taste. My partner will be practically gagging on them, but I've never struggled with the taste at all. It's definitely not pleasant, but it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be imo.
@@urghey990 interesting. I made tea from about 300-400 mushrooms and drank it. The come up was slow and lasted about 16 hours. But they weren't powdered, they were fresh.

My youngest son did shrooms for a while… He also said they taste like ass, but I’ll have to confirm with him about the “stripper four hours into a night” kind of ass 😂 Best description I’ve ever heard of someone saying something tastes like ass ever! 😂 Needless to say, my son no longer does shrooms. The last few times he had really bad trips and was freaking out so bad I had a hard time talking him down. I’ve only ever tripped twice (unknowingly) on some laced weed and both times I had really bad trips. Now I can’t even smoke weed anymore without freaking out, so I don’t bother. But at least I had the experience to know how to talk my son down. He’s the same way, now. He can’t even smoke weed without freaking out. It’s like he blew out the receptor in his brain or something… It sucks because weed helped us both with our bipolar issues.
That is hilarious. I'm extremely curious though - do you perceive color when you trip? Do you feel that you experience vision at all? I know you mentioned the hallways, but I wasn't sure if you meant that you see them visually or just feel that they're there.
My friend Lindy is blind from birth an I asked her "Do you see anything when your dreaming since your not seeing with eyes but seeing in the mind" She said that she never sees anything that even in her dreams she's blind. It's very strange. But she doesn't know what seeing really is. So I guess she wouldn't be able to manifest from memory. But someone who could see then became blind Can still see in dreams because they can manifest from memory

I tripped hard as fuck on shrooms more than an quarter all to myself … I was here one minute watching those acid trip movies on RU-vid with the deer and then I was in outer space seeing every molecule ever just flashing before my eyes it felt like I was free falling into eternity seeing every flash of light and time was not real , just felt like I was in the moment … changed my life forever I been so scared to trip they hard ever again . I kept thinking when is this going to be over and when I would come too minutes later I’m tripping hard as shit again maybe did that cycle all night about 3-4 times before I finally went to bed lol
One thing he left out is sensory deprivation potentiates psychedelics so what might be a chill trip for you could be absolute hell for him. Alot of people sit in dark rooms to trip of low doses cause it really brings out the hallucinations.
I wish you’d just try DMT have a break through and if you “see” or conceptualize things that seem like vision to you, maybe it will draw more credibility and attention to the fact that our consciousness is experiencing something beyond this dimension… one where a blind person can “see”. When I broke through I was “seeing” but it’s not like with two eyes. I was seeing impossible colors and impossible shapes and the fact that you’re able to conceptualize something in such clarity that I’ve never seen or could have even imagined is mind blowing. For those who can see, imagine seeing a 4d cube, not as a 2d drawing or a 3d shape… but seeing it in 4d. It’s indescribable. I just wonder if a blind person breaks through on DMT they can at least describe if they conceived shapes that were alien to the 3d shapes they can feel with their hands and conceive with their mind interpretation of those shapes. I just feel like it could help prove or disprove if the DMT break through is just purely neurological or something more. I just can’t phantom having experienced a world completely out of this dimension with such mental clarity that it literally feels more real than reality. Unless you break through there is just no talking about it with people. You just gotta experience it to know it. I’ve taken many psychedelics on high doses. Nothing can compare to DMT. I havnt taken 5-meo yet. I’m honestly good. Lol the DMT while nothing scary happened, it was just so profoundly alien I just don’t know if I can handle it lol. Before I didn’t know so I had no clue what to anticipate… but now I know and I’m just like l, yeah I need to majorly prepare for the next journey. And no I didn’t meet any entities but the entire reality itself seemed to be intelligent and cognizant of my presence. As cliche as it sounds, I felt like I was at the foot of God or something. This intelligence was just so massive it took up the entire space of what I could “see”. It’s like your eyeball is a giant circle and you can see what’s in front, below above and behind in all directions at the same time. You can see every detail in every direction at all times. Not like here where you have to directly focus on something and your brain blurrs the details out of everything else. Man it’s just beyond comprehension.

Peyote is better than mushrooms bro. Peyote contains mescaline which is also found in some legal cacti such as bolivian torch and peruvian torch. Would highly recommend

Used to work at a video game store where a bunch of people of with aspergers and other learning disabilities would come in because gaming was their special interest, i would sell them lsd for extra $ at the time and I honestly think it cured their aspergers.
So it's just exactly like doing mushrooms but you just can't see. The other intensified senses must be incredible tho. Like listening to music while petting a dog outside on a summer day in a hammock for example 😩
As a legally blind person (20/475) i took shrooms without contacts. They were jack frost, around 4g. I had no visuals except a slight jelly look to objects i could see up close and somehow to make shapes of the blurs of lights if i stared long enough. One of my favorite experiences so far.
One time I was on mushrooms trying to go to sleep and I couldn't because the music my head was making up was too lit, so I put on some classical music to relax and I was seeing these fractals morphing with the sound of the music through my whole field of vision. It was lit and I had a really good sleep. I think it was some Mozart or Vivaldi I was listening to.

sounds like the lack of visual input makes the introspective/cerebral aspect go up in intensity....kinda like lowering the volume in the car to ''see'' better.
you can mix quite a bit of muhrooms into a smoothie or chocolate milkshake, and still not even notice a difference in flavour.. a 5 gram mushroom chocolate milkshake is a great choice.
People say mushrooms taste bad but honestly from the times I’ve taken them they weren’t that bad. It doesn’t taste good but it’s not like it’s a battle to get down, kind of like stale popcorn.

If you want mushrooms to taste better, get yourself something with high acid content (lemon juice, lemonade with extra lemon juice even). My go to is calypso ocean blue. Empty your boddle until theres 1/4 or less left, add some lemon juice, grind your dose up, let it steep in the lemon juice/ lemonade mixture for a good long while to ensure its all been activated and steeped out into the juice, then chug down that juice and chase it with the rest of the calypso you have in a cup on the side to avoid any of the taste. It will hit you sooner, it will hit you harder, and in my experience its the only way to avoid the mushroom shits. (no im not kidding, when you trip and are on the come up it gets so intense your body literally gets the urge to relieve itself, be near a toilet your first time incase you start puking or needa drop a turd from the intensity). If you dont do drugs, dont start, if you do, be safe and make sure theres someone you trust who can keep an eye on you.
