The relic hunt started with a tiny piece of old jewelry on a beautiful, sunny day in the woods. The adventure unfolded with heights and lows into a successful trip.
Once again 18th century people did not disappoint by leaving their buttons for the future.
This time I was able to find some (1800's) coins as well. In one particular spot one French and Italian coin. Both persons were standing at the same spot, probably a few years apart.
My oldest find looked like a Roman fibula. Is it one? I'm not sure yet, but it has the shape.
I hope you enjoyed this metal detecting episode.
