Yeah, do you think the gorilla did that on purpose, or was it just a coincidence? It looked SO intentional, but that seems kind of hard to believe 🤷🏼♀️
I'm sure you'd still be sane, imprisoned and gawped at all the time with no privacy or freedom, you'd act normally hey 😢 Human consider themselves civilised 😂😂😂
Hes not mad at the cameras, hes mad at how loud everyone is. Gorillas hearing is better then humans and you got 70 Karen's talking loud af with their crotch goblins screaming too. No wonder he's pissed.
Brooo I had a crazy kind of experience I looked into the eyes of 1 and man...he looked soo happy and at peace. That moment on I always went to the zoo to see him.
That's exactly what I was thinking, it was almost like it was taken from a movie, just kindov shows how bad us humans really are Edit: I low-key forgot I even commented this but thank you from the likes
Yeah, it's so sad that the gorilla is living a life of luxury, in excellent health, and will probably out live his wild breathren 2:1. And not to mention the prospect of mating endlessly with healthy females.
I'm not trying to be mean, but what if he's really enjoying life knowing he gets free medical care, the best bananas in town and once in awhile he gets some booty for "mating" purposes. Seems like a worry free life, plus no worries of tigers lol
I saw some gorillas in Bristol zoo several years ago and left with a feeling of great sadness. These amazing beings don't deserve to be locked up like this.
I couldn’t agree more! People standing there talking about, “you want to pet him”? They are just as intelligent as humans are, if not more and they’re being used for amusement! Look at how depressed they all look when you see them? It’s not right!
I know right! I noticed it too; My 7th sense is tellin me that its thinkin about the possible existance of a parallel world in which their race is standin on the opposite side of the window watchin us humans on the other side in disbelief & total confusion, while their slaughtering each other for usin their meat for food despite the availablity of all kinds nd varieties of other food resources except food; Thats jst a tiny section of his thoughts at that moment, Im tellin you he's reflect & contemplating on some deep philosophical matters & subjects that wouldn't cross the minds, or would be concidered too advanced for about %42-%58 Of the people that have visited the place
In San Francisco years and years ago there used to be a gorilla that used to get fed up with people surrounding his encampment which is opened in on like a little island with a moat. He used to get angry at people and pick up his feces and throw it. One time he got a poor lady and hit her in the side of the head and knocked her hat off.
Not his fault. It's the 10,000 jackasses that made fun of him that led to the old woman getting poop-slapped. Trade places with him and I guarantee you'd throw feces before the number of harassers even reached a thousand...
Oh yes. While humans do not come from monkeys, Darwin is a moronic liar, still gorillas are awesomely intelligent. He understands very well. Just the ancient record accounts of global flood, coming in from most all nations, tribes, tells that Bible is accurate. If it's accurate in this, it is accurate on who commanded the flood. It is then accurate that God is real, it's just too much if a coinciding record on the flood, that can't be ignored. ] Thousands of years old records prove far more important, than one delusional dude called delirious Darwin. Yes you’re exactly right. They are as conscious as we are. And more conscious and intelligent than a lot of people living on Earth right now.s It breaks my heart to see them held captive like that, solely for the entertainment of pricks and assholes alike.
@D2Paul that's odd, could've swore I was the type to leave it the fuck alone, just because I understand the animal is intelligent enough to harbor feelings of sadness doesn't make me dumb enough to go up to him to hug him.. If anything, understanding this keeps me further away from them
The pause whilst he stopped and contemplated what to do. As though he had had enough of all the noise of the human chatter, and just wanted peace and quiet and to be left alone. The look on his face when he approached the glass, as he gazed up and out at everyone looking at him. "Would you want to be me, enduring this? I want to be free of here and all of you."

People in the comments acting like he's a wild animal when he's zoo raised and the last zoo raised animal we let loose stay in a small area the same size as her cage and went insane. Boi these aren't wild they won't survive they don't know what the outside is they were born in the zoo and feel safe. Now they do get agitated cus their not pets either their raised with their own room and small environment that makes them feel safe. Stop acting like we stole them from the wild. In any good zoo they should inform that they will not act the same in the wild and you can infact go on wild safari viewings. They are dangerous but alowed as long as you stay in the vehicle you even have to sign and if a Karen gets out your no longer their responsibility those aren't zoo kept or pets their wild and can and may killing. Putting it in that environment is cruel, especially since it doesn't know how to survive alone or around wild animals of it's own kind. It's own kind would kill it or leave it behind because it's grown and can't seem to help the pack or herd if they even travel in groups, if not you just threw something that's gonna look around think its all pretty then get scared cus it doesn't know what's going on and die. @@purrtycatinthebox5426 i didnt say that we should release these animals in the wild. We shouldnt put them in cages in the first place. @The Dapper Fapper You're drawing a completely arbitrary line between humans and animals. Gorillas and chimps are our closest cousins in the animal world, so it's not very far fetched to assume a lot of similarities. There has been a shit ton of research into the emotions of animals and it's been shown many times that almost all mammals feel the same emotions, have the same hormonal systems and share most of the same kinds of internal organs. Their brains have the same fundamental functions and structures as ours and research on humans has shown that facial expressions are universal and independent of culture. There is no reason to believe that this wouldn't extend to the great apes as well. Again, you're drawing an arbitrary line between humans and animals that isn't supported by any scientific findings.
@@cej3940 You mean the comments about the gorilla having a soul? Yeah. Those are also not backed by science since there is no such thing as a soul. But what people usually mean by soul isn't the spiritual concept, it's just the capacity of a creature to think and feel like we do. And apes can absolutely do that.
So many “smart” people here commenting on David Foster’s comment. You would think people who are this “smart” could just let the whole “gorilla has a soul” thing go. But no, you get things like “it’s absurd” or “ no such thing as a soul”.....seriously wtf is with people bashing anything spiritual ??? On your deathbeds I bet the lot of you will suddenly believe in souls but you will be more concerned with your own wretched ones.
Not entirely true. That looks like an a great habitat. Gorillas only move when the food runs out. These guys dont have to worry about diseases, get the best food they like, fruits, and dont have to worry about getting attacked by others completing for territory. Dunno if you know, but when food and mates are gone, gorillas, esp the silver backs, will go on massacres and kill mercilessly any others in the group.
I see an older gorilla who used his middle finger, the longest, to smell his booty hole. *So it looks like he’s flipping the bird.* Why all the projection of exhaustion and zoo cruelty in the comments? The older I get, the more tired. So in that I can relate.
looking into the eyes of that gorilla while the reflection of laughing humans gives me such a heavy feeling. You can almost step into the soul of the gorilla and see it’s pain, almost feel it. As his eyes glance at one anther analyzing the situation you understand that this creature is intelligent enough to know it’s been locked up it’s entire life and that’s heart breaking.
When he puts his face up to the glass and you can see the reflections of the people staring back at him is haunting. He had such a sad look in his eyes.
@Kordell swoffer but he could go wherever he wanted if he wasnt in the enclosure, if I was given the choice between living in an enclosure with safety and living in my native land with freedom I'd chose to live in my native land and not be put on display
Amen..just because he may have been saved, doesn't mean he should be on F'N display for everyone to see and laugh at ..YOU CAN SEE HIS PAIN...HE DESERVES HIS FREEDOM AND IF NOT FREEDOM, HE DESERVES MORE THAN PRIVACY, HE DESERVES TO BE LEFT ALONE..
The sad part is; he's somehow better off beyond a glass then he would be in his actual home habitat. In his home, he would constantly be getting hunted down by poachers for seemingly no reason. Well there is a reason: money, but the reason I'm referring to is more on the moral side.
The look of pure disappointment longing for someone to truly recognize who he is. Yet these people just stroll through with these things in his fucking face day after day

That glass is pretty darn thick. A lot of noise would be muffled both ways. I worked more than 10 years in the glazing and construction industry and we did a job for our local airforce base back in 2003. They have to have windows capable of withstanding shockwaves from F-18s taking off, and also to block out the noise. They used 12.68mm laminated sheets. I'm certain that the one here is thicker than that, and is probably perspex which would muffle sound even more.
