@@IKEBULLTV do you know which one is Frederick? He's the center... the player that snaps the ball in the middle of the offensive line. The offensive line is all those big guys blocking
I mean the fact that this O-Line is one of the best in the last decade, and it was Aaron Donalds rookie season I feel like he handled it pretty well. I saw two (maybe three) one v one situations where AD got beat. He was either double-teamed or dropped back into qb spy for a lot of plays where it looked like he was beat.
When this game happened Martin was a rookie as well he was picked 16, Donald pick 13 .. Fredrick was in year 2 after being the 31 pick a year before,, and Smith was in year 3 after being picked 9th in 2011. So your argument isn't as strong as you think. They all were very young and green in a sense during this time! BTW they where considered the best till like a year or so later
Bro I tell every one I know tony Romo was the best scrambling quarter back of my generation. He was jus slow AF. Lol y'all go check out Tony Romo scrambling videos and watch your favorite offensive line men get played lol enjoy
Naw, 90s Dallas with Larry Allen was the best Dallas O line. They made Emmitt Smith a hall of famer. Probably the slowest halfback to ever be inducted. Jerome Bettis was faster than emmitt smith.
@@TheBigChad You don't seem very educated on the topic (he also said at the time). Who else was on that offensive line? Emmitt Smith won 3 rushing titles before Larry Allen was even in the league.
@@supersexysega I said THEY made him a hall of famer. I threw Allen’s name out because he’s the most noteworthy of the group. The fullback they had was a badass too
@@TheBigChad Watch Emmitt's high school, college, and Cardinals game film, and tell me you see anything different than what we saw all those years for the Cowboys. In his final season, he almost broke 1,000 yards and had 9 TDs behind the Cardinals' o-line. No matter where he went, he always was able to see and exploit the right hole and then he's tough to bring down and it's like that from high school till he retired.
This was Zack Martins's rookie year as well and Travis Freddicks's second year.. and Tyron's third year. The rams ran a 3-4 under Fisher and he wasn't huge on blitzing so he rushed 3 a lot putting Donald at 1t isn't ideal given he's undersized and that's where most double teams go.. Make the edges run the hoop and protect inside
Romo was so magical in the pocket miss watching him play. Murray behind this line was also amazing. Dez jump ball highlight plays and Witten and Beasley over the middle. Sucks they never had a defense or coach and Romo couldn’t stay healthy for very long.
@@kingbleezy8262 Romo was the offense. Love him or hate him, he made that team competitive. He never had a great offensive line until it was too late, and no defense.
I’ve always said no cap 2014 at the senior bowl Aaron Donald whooped up on every offensive lineman that wasn’t named zack Martin and Travis was jhi like rag dolling AD 💯 if we had this oline with the team we got now 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@IcantBELIEVEit8 Definitely not. In 2018 the offensive line coach got fired. Also in 2018 Travis missed the season with that Auto Immun disorder. 2016 I wouldn't argue
@@freddieflores8881 8 out of the 15 pass plays he was doubled. And one was a stunt where he went outside the edge so who knows if they were guna double him that play. Still 8 out of 15 is more than 50 percent of the time.
Lol only Travis Frederick was handling him. Everyone else had to double and it wasn't through the whole game. Towards the end Aaron was crushing Travis but that's when the intelligence of the coach comes into play. You know AD can and will cause havock so how do you prevent that? Double teaming him, that takes the pressure off of the guy singling. And also adds potential for the future
The real ??? Is, is this line in their prime better than The Dallas Wall🤔. Love TS and ZM, 2 HOFer’s, but it’s not even close in my opinion. What y’all think?
i miss that o-line, were the best in the league and everyone knew it. they could block anyone. But Frederick is gone, Tyron Smith is a shell of a former self who can't play more than half a season, and even Martin is starting to show signs of age
@@Flirken1 avg my ass.... the same avg that got a D1 scholarship to a powerhouse like Ohio St and then ran over everybody from college to the NFL and rushed his way into 7th place last yr and has been top 10 rushing (except 1 yr 2020) since he ahs been in the nfl.... knock it off
Scary that Donald was a rookie here. He was very disruptive. Lots of double Teams. He’s very deserving of his accolades. The best since Reggie white in my book.
This may have been AD's rookie year-8 seasons ago. Long suffering Cowboy fans need something to feel good about. The QB draw with 14 seconds left won't do it.
yall acting like he got killed i saw a bunch of double teams and help to his side hahah and then when he bulled rushed he put the OL guys 7 yards back lol
‘17 eagles o line was better. Kelce and lane both made first team all pro and peters was graded as the best LT before the injury against Washington and we still had another pro bowler in Brandon brooks.
Travis Fredericks was the better center but that sickness caught up to him. Kelce is good but light in the rear. Smith was the LT all GMs would’ve taken over 2017 Peters and Martin is on another level compared to Brooks. Try again!
@@Billybadass311 no that defense was top3 or did you forget? They only let up like 70yds rushing a game absolutely mauling teams. That same defense in the playoffs shut down the NFC defending champs the Falcons and Vikings.
@@JayYo21 No, I didn't forget. You are right about the defense getting us through the playoffs. But in the superbowl it was a different story. Aside from a couple drives in the first half and the very end. We couldn't stop da Patriots. We had to keep scoring. Dat game, da oline got us a ring.
so a guy draws doubles and triples and your saying his only play that affected the game was one pressure ..... LOL you might want to pick a different sport to analyze
I like how people are saying oh AD was just a rookie in this. So was Martin and Frederick was a second year player. Overall a great performance on both sides of the trenches
