Clowney has very inconsistent hand usage, that's why his sack numbers are so low. He is incredibly explosive/athletic and very strong but the pass rushing technique, especially hand usage, just doesn't come as naturally to him as it does to someone like JJ Watt.
I'm assuming you mean Clowney as borderline HOF. I respectfully disagree. Guy has been average most of his career with his best year coming with Seattle and even then, it wasn't the best compared to others in his position. His pro bowls were unwarranted IMO.

If Jerry had played his cards a little better with the draft every year, I genuinely believe the Cowboys would have been Super bowl contenders from 2014 -2018ish. We didn’t draft any true stars on defense and it ruined everything.

U clearly dont watch football on defense sometimes there is 4 people on the d line so the offense has to help the person next to him so no smith and martin won

The guard does help tackles at times but for the most they help the center. In this game Tyron smith had clowney on lock. He’s not much of a pass rusher anyway. Martin did a good job against watt when they were one on one but he did have help at times

As a Texans fan... I tend to clown cowboys fans. But I really have nothing but respect for the team. Like the O line is one of the best I’ve seen... with Tyron, Frederick, and Martin, that’s a scary sight as a d line.
