British people still regarded Ali as the champ when America stripped him of his title. So yeah, I guess Britain was his #1 fan. He didn't fight just for blacks he fought for everybody.
I think what bothers me the most is that I will nevr get to see him before he goes home........I love Ali for the MAN and CHAMPION he is today. ALI, ALI, ALI, ALI,!!!!!!
As an Englishman we always considered Ali as “one of us “. He had a very English piss take sense of humour. We loved that about him. And he enjoyed being in Britain.
And Ricky Hatton I still think that you are a great champion so if you EVER look at this which I doubt but I hope you do, I think you are an awesome fighter and no matter what has happened you are still are a champion to me.
Thank you for uploading this wonderful documentary. I note that the upload date is January 17th... Mohammad Ali's birthday (mine too). That's wonderful!
im a muslim and im part black, but its allmost allways a muslim or a black person that starts the race or religeon shit off,ali was a mixed race american convert to islam that transcended ppl of all races and religeons by his enigmatic personality and courage
Ali had a black father and black mother. He was never seen as mixed race. Scenes you are seeing are during times were black people were still not allowed in certain spaces, by law. In the time of this video, there where still children of slave owners and children of American slavery still alive. You represent white supremacy
Because we're were more accepting to black people unlike America which was hugely racist. Same why people like Jimi Hendrix became a star here first as Americans didn't like him for his colour.
how is ricky hatton going to say Muhammad Ali's poor? THE MAN WON BILLIONS OF MONEY IN HIS TIME... HE MUST BE ONABOUT THE WRONG MUHAMMAD ALI... OR ITS JUST ME TAKING RICKY HATTONS WORDS WRONG.
