Flint Dibble made a response, and his response contained outright falsehoods, this time mostly about me. Here's the proof he not only can't keep his stories straight, but he talks about ancient history without doing research, even in a scripted video.

Thanks for a very interesting video. I can see the hurt on your face from discovering that not all scientists are in favor of the Data ( the Truth). It fills me with pain to see dribbles slander Graham with such hateful words. The evil, backstabbing, and cowardly spirit of dribbles is clearly on display as he refused to acknowledge his own hateful words, and lying about saying them. If this dribbles allows his bias to so plainly be on display in things like this, which surely are the most true reflections of his character, it's obvious he had no chance of hiding his stuipidity. It's hilarious when no one else around he has that whimpy yelling voice, but when others are around he adapts that even softer whimper voice, this clearly reflects his lack of confidence in his own words, given that when anyone else is around to hear them and hold him accountable for them, he no longer boldly proclaims them

So I watched Flints video yesterday and I commented about how I feel like these “genuine archeologists” are spending too much time focusing on you and Graham Hancock (and others) That I think they should focus on actual archaeology if they want to disprove or discredit you and others. If they want to prove themselves genuine then as opposed to directly showing that you or Graham are upsetting them, they should just show the evidence of their own fields. I honestly wouldn’t even know about this channel if not for them. It makes me wonder why they are so upset. What are they hiding? If you were saying such irrelevant things then why would they bother to spend the time defending themselves or attacking you? For the record, I’m not in blind agreement with everything these archaeologists say and disagree with them on a relatively regular basis. When I comment on their channels I get attacked, a lot! I get attacked when I present a logical, well thought, difference of opinion based on genuine archaeological findings. My personal area of expertise is regarding the ancient gods so I do know, and am very interested in many archaeological discoveries. What I can’t understand is why they feel the need to present opinions. Why can’t they ever say they don’t know something based on the evidence they have? Why do they need to attack alternative theories when all they themselves present are their own theories. They need to stop with their opinions and focus on facts. It’s absolutely getting exhausting and I really appreciate what you have attempted to do by calling them out. I might not always agree with you either, but at least you’re honest as far as I can tell. When you present an opinion or an alternative point of view it is truly presented as such. Thank you ❤

20:14 dibble "waffles" clearly because he is addressing the different instances they quote him and clarifying what is left out the quote. He says no, I did not call Graham a racist, because he did not, he pointed out the racist sources graham uses uncritically and asks graham to address this. He says he yes, these ideas discussed by Graham reinforce white supremacy, which is true because they are based on sources (the spanish version of Quetzalcoatl and the Ignatius Donnelly revival of Atlantis) that have a deep history of being used to justify colonialism and white supremacy (the Nazis used the story of Atlantis to justify the idea of a master race that was responsible for all the achievements of the inferior races). Whether he likes it or not, Graham unknowingly associated himself with ideas that have a rich history of white supremacy, Dibble only points this out and asks graham to acknowledge this and explicitly distance himself from that history, which is reasonable. Finally dibble says no, I did not say those words on the guardian, because the words Graham and Joe were quoting were not in quotation marks in article and thus not his words. I agree that this part of the video was a bit hard to follow because people were talking over each other, but it's not too difficult to figure out what Dibble was saying nevertheless.

I'm a physicist. All the letters hard core pedigree... I'd never use my degree to back stop a BS opinion. Dibble didn't do his homework got caught and is gaslighting everyone. He has abused his power and isn't a very good scientist. I don't engage with cranks (like Eric Weinstein) because it takes FOREVER ... and the crank likes it. I don't have time to give them the 10 years of physics and math education that they basically slept through. Same thing with Hancock and people who have looked deeply into alternative topics... they've put in their time and defend their opinions with evidence... and are ASKING for someone to take a hard LOOK at the stuff they have found... that's not crank level stuff the cranks never say: dig here, or this experiment will distinguish my idea from orthodoxy! With physics and other hard sciences it's as simple... either your idea QUANTITATIVELY agrees with experiment (including error propagation) or not... that's what i like about the unchartedX guys. They measure things that were made in antiquity... that sets the bar ... this precision level = this technology level. With Dibble and these other guys who ignore this "reality" stuff... they're not doing science. They got their positions by being good at schoolyard rhetoric and arguments in a time BEFORE ubiquitous video and instant fact checking became possible.

If amateurs have no knowledge of archaeology, what's the point of archaeological scholars that publish papers/lectures and write books. Does Flint think people can't read and think? If Flint is right, then it's the archaeologists' fault for poor communication skills, which is their purpose. People with half a brain know that their is some speculation in this field. Let's not forget that archaeologists have disagreements, and I find it strange that they dismiss ancient text so easily consider the City of Troy, for instance.

Hey Dan, you might be interested to know that if you Google "How long does it take for feralization of domesticated crops to take place", you will be presented with an article that indicates that feralization is a rapid evolutionary process. Mind you, this is the case with previously domesticated animals as well. The most studied form of domesticated crops that have feralized is "weedy rice". Domesticated rice has feralized in many locations around the world, and on numerous occasions, especially in Southeast Asia (I'm in Mindanao Philippines). A fedora wearing archaeologist that claims it takes "thousands of years... 3000 years", needs to read the science. Rice didn't grow in North America until it was introduced from Asia, and guess what? Yeah, it feralized there. While I have not seen any actual timeframes, when "rapid evolutionary processes" are mentioned, it means that feralization occurs as quickly as evolutionary changes due to domestication and hybridization. For example, "native chickens" here in Mindanao are red jungle fowl, which Austronesian people spread throughout the Pacific Islands. European chickens were introduced throughout the Asia-Pacific region, and naturally these have hybridized. My wife has hybrid chickens here in Mindanao. There are feral cats, dogs, pigs, horses and goats in many places around the world. So, assuming a global catastrophe, is it possible that previously domesticated animals and plants would quickly feralize? The answer is yes. Since redomestication of feralized crops has happened on multiple occasions, it's not possible to argue for "thousands of years" for feralization to occur. Wrong again, archaeologist in the fedora.
@danielfallu5302
@danielfallu5302 21 день назад
Flint was asked how long it would be until the evidences of domestication are gone. Feral organisms are feral because they were once domestic, and you can tell. So, this really doesn't contradicting Flint the way Dan claims it does. But Dan knows that. He will likely delete this comment.
@gaufrid1956
@gaufrid1956 21 день назад
@@danielfallu5302 Dan didn't delete your comment. Flint's answer was not based on any study of the topic, nor on any personal experience he had with the subject. A scientist puts an answer out there, and the average Joe likely believes it. What Flint should have said was "I don't know. I can't put a figure on that.". That would have been an honest answer. As for rice, for example, it goes through rapid atavism, a reversion to its original wild form. Domesticated rice was bred over time to remove the trait of weedy rice that led to the shattering of the rice grains. The domesticated version is well-known and fully understood. Yes, we understand when something is feral, because we know the domesticated version. Atavism has also been observed in wheat, sorghum, rye and barley. Of course, it would be known that these crops were domesticated previously, wherever the atavism has occurred. However, that doesn't discount the possibility of any of these crops having been domesticated in the distant past, then feralizing. It would not be possible to totally dismiss the possibility, nor to make claims about the process of atavism taking "thousands of years". This is what I take umbrage of in Flint's statement.

This is why debate is so crucial, even if one side (or both) refuse to budge on their beliefs. Good debate requires both sides be civil, honest, logical, and prioritize truth above themselves, that way if one side (or both) is proven wrong (in part or total), they can embrace the truth, abandon the falsehoods, and move forward. However, when one side (or both) don't adhere to the tenets of good debate, there are still positives that can come out of it. 1) It enables the audience to learn more about the topic and the opposing viewpoints. 2) It enables the debaters and the audience to learn more about the men in the debate. Rigorous debate, especially on topics of core belief, reveals the man and his character. 3) Rigorous debate reveals logic that is unsound and inconsistent, and men who are being dishonest. 4) It exposes ideas and men to challenge. If the ideas and men are good, they'll be sharpened, honed, and strengthened. If not, they'll be discarded as weak. People like Dibble are incapable of good debate, because they're not civil, honest, logical, or prioritize truth above themselves. He's underhanded, uses logical fallacies and ad hominems (i.e. anyone who disagree with me is "racist"), slimey (when pressed on it he says "oh, I didn't 'actually' mean you were racist"), is logically inconsistent, he tells lies, and he prioritizes himself and his dogma above truth. He's incapable of learning anything, even the smallest thing, that runs contrary to his worldview. He's not a scientist, he's a scientism cultist. He thinks because he read some books in college, reads peer reviewed papers, and has some extra letters next to his name, that he's right, and everyone else is wrong. Dogmatists, while they have their uses, should never hold majority in scientific fields.

Hello DeDunking, I'm a subscriber and fan of your channel, along with most folks in the alternative history genre. The uniformity in megalithic stone work spread all over the ancient world leads me to believe it's possible we had an ancient civilization in which mainstream academics - for some reason, do not entertain. I'd like to think it's about their commitment to moneyed interests within their respective fields. Secondly, if you're a renegade, going against the orthodox will get you laughed at. We see this in theoretical physics research, astro-chemists etc... Anyway, the point I wish to make is, I'm with you with Flint. His resort to calling yourself and of course Graham Hancock is at best childish, lazy and stubborn, at worst straight up slanderous, pompous and unprofessional. However, I recently came across a video of Flint on "gnostic informant's" youtube channel and I was very surprised. The video is "cradles of civilization-rated R" ..it;s quite interesting and funny. Concerning drugs our ancestors took and their rituals. He isn't in "a-hole mode" or venomous. Being called a "racist" these days is a badge of honor. It helps that the ones equivocating on that word and weaponizing it against ideological opponents are, themselves, actually racist.

It's all projection from them. Label your enemies with your own misdeads, I can think of two specific groups who use this as part of their MO

This is the real problem with Academia. You end up with 4-8 years of concentrated narrative, with the potential of excommunication if you speak out against what you've 'learned' there. Unfortunately it's not unique to Archaeology. If you look at the entire landscape (Healthcare, Pharma, the Education industry, the Agriculture industry, the Tech industry, etc). I feel like plenty of people have awoken to this fact - (possibly a little too much - if you look at Terrance Howard's impact) - but the core issue is that we've awoken to the systematic lies and manipulation from 'Experts'. I asked Flint to differentiate 'good experts' from 'bad experts' - and instead he told me to "Trust all experts" - and refused to continue commenting. Not a good look.

This is such a ridiculous attempt to twist words and meanings. Dan, you are not the omniscient judge of the intentions of others. It is why you failed in your Potholer54 experience and the same with your attempts with Flint. Every one of your fans who comment on Flints channel are demonstrating an emotional response sans evidence or rationality.

@@Eyes_Open he knows, that's why he's resorted to lying in order to rile people up.
