It’s really expensive to hurt someone physically in China. People throw themselves under the cars to get paid for the rest of their lives. It’s scary to provide someone who collapses on the street the first aid, cause you don’t know if you’d be sued by the person for some injuries you didn’t give. Laws are dumb but it doesn’t mean that people are not kind or inconsiderate.

I cry the whole time because i cant stand watching a old woman being bullied even its fake but it hurts my feelings and heary specially when i heard the woman crying 😥😥😭😭 i grow up missing my grandparents(Rest in peace). Sometimes i ask my friends what is the feeling to have a grandparents caring for you and everytime i heard their answer i cry. It really makes me happy to see some people protecting the old woman and if i were there i would do the same thing.
Westerners wouldn't pay attention most of the time, because they are too adsorbed in their own selfishness and a me, me, me attitude! Chinese people are educators first...and they are wonderful people overall...I spent five years in mainland China, and it was an honor to experience their culture and kindness.
I cry watching these. It’s makes me happy to see people speak up, but at the same time, it makes me sad that these are real hardships people face. Thank you for bringing these social issues to light. One day- we ALL will be old so we have to take care of each other.
