Dealerships don’t want to sell with cash regardless of your skin color. They make the most money off suckers financing their cars. Why would you buy from a dealership anyway? Total waste of money unless you’re super rich. Just put the time and effort vetting used cars heavily
@@refugeeca some people prefer to buy from a dealer especially for newer cars cuz you get the benefits of getting legit warranties, sometimes discounted or no cost maintenance, as well as they're usually pretty good about keeping up with and contacting owners about vehicle recalls. That's if you buy from like kia or ford, not those private owned predator used car dealers.

Low key though up until the 80's real estate agents and developers would refuse to sell houses in white neighborhoods to black families because they didn't want the property value of the neighborhood to go down. That's why till this day community's are still so segregated.:(

I've never seen one and being brutally honest my people have always tried to stay away from minority communities when it comes to housing So you do business with everyone or just black people?
@@dv9239 I've been a realtor for about a year now in buffalo NY. There's actually alot of poc in real estate here. I worked construction for about 5 years before so I met alot of investors and I always carried myself respectfully so that business transferred to my new profession. As a realtor you have to abide by fair housing laws meaning you can't discriminate when working with clientele. I got into the business cuz home ownership changed my life and I wanted to offer that info to my peers, but I'm more than willing to work with anyone. Unfortunately like most professions there's segregation present and ppl tend to work with what's most familiar to them. Not a big problem but I believe the more professional, respectful individuals that enter a space of any race, the more we break up that cycle.

This actually happens. Went to an open house in my town and the real estate agent basically asked if we could afford it. Told her I was just looking, I live down the street. She said, oh are you renting? I said no I own the house. She said oh you’re the type of buyer we are looking for lmao.
You're reaching. The real estate agent could of really been curious if you could afford it because some people come and check and aren't going to be buyers, and most average people don't own their homes.

I don't want to start an argument but the same thing happen has happened to me every time I've bought a property. Sellers want to see proof of funds even if you have the money for the offer letter deposit. Note, not all sellers. I accept deposits without proof of funds. I've had my time wasted quite a bit by people who couldn't raise the funds in the end. I could try to keep the deposit but it is usually not worth it in the end. I don't have lawyers on retainer to take these guys to court over deposits. It is easier to just ask for proof of funds if you have multiple offers and choose the more serious offer. The solution is to come prepared with a loan pre-approval and a bank statement.
Same exact thing happens as a disabled person trying to buy a house. One realtor straight up called me a fraud and that I fabricated my financial documents - when I said let's call the bank and talk to them, he straight up said No, I'm not gonna do that. Like shit, just say you don't want to sell to me because my legs don't work.

Been in a similar situation when I first looked at houses. Was not fun and definitely not funny at the time. A few people were pretty blatant with their racism, it was ridiculous.
Hey same my grandparents (African and very wealthy) and my dad were looking at some homes in a very rich neighborhood and a real estate agent didn’t believe they had the cash and my grandparents went out and used a different agent on the house who was brand new and bought the house 790k cash while the other agent was doing showings in that house 😂. Gave the new agent a huge ass commission too
