It creates the inverted triangle shape. Also, he has a long neck that makes him look tall even though he's around average height (5"10.5") for a male. Proportions as perfect as Jin's are very rare...grrrr even his face and facial features are perfectly proportioned! Anyone can build more muscle if you work hard enough, but you're born with your bone structure and that can't be changed. He was already born with those godly proportions.
