He's sorounded by exactly the opposite men, except Kenny. Shaq and Barkley are the type of people who got lucky they succeeded with basketball, disrespectful, aggressive and impolite.

Ernie’s facial expression while looking at the camera when he said “I came about that close” was the moment of a legend. That needs to be in black and white on a tshirt.
These guys are awesome. They all seem like brothers breaking each others balls. They seem to genuinely like each other which makes them so entertaining.
Ernie Johnson is underrated. I know that Barkley steals the show, but Johnson makes it go. I've given up on NBA games, but I'll tune in anytime to watch those guys rib each other.
I remember when they were telling a story how he has had all his notes prepared for the night and Charles came up and ripped them in front of him. Ernie stated how pissed he was because he felt they didn’t respect him. Kenny and Charles were stone faced like. We didn’t mean to make you feel like that friend
Gotaa love these guys. Especially chuck and ernie. They never speak highly of themselves. Always gives credit where it’s due. But has an immense amount of humility. Talk about some good hearted guys. This show is the only one that saddens me to think of the time when they’ll be done with. Not a matter of if but when. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼😔
Ernie is always mostly quiet and chill...fear the man that hides his anger as well as Ernie because when he goes off even Shaq will get hit lol. Also I'm surprised Shaq didn't stand up and back up The Godfather Ernie.

Ernie Sr. was probably the best Braves announcer. But Ernie Jr. did all sports as well as the pre-game, half-time and post game shows. But you want to hear Jr. cussing out put him against Bill Hartman, Jeff Hullinger, Art Eckman, Joe Washington and Chuck Dowdle on the local side. There will be some woofing of a massive scale.
