Yup, i also know lots of intelligent people who are dumb as a brick, and unintelligent people who are actually quite smart. There's more to it than doing well at school. And a degree definitely doesnt make you less of a dick!
Intellectual or holding an advanced degree doesn't mean that you're smart. My brothers are extremely intellectual but lack the common sense to think their way out of a paper bag. My husband's brother is a theoretical mathematician and is clueless about every day life, while my husband is both intelligent and has a great deal of common sense.
But without paper certificates , life can be a struggle..and if you’ve got them you get automatic respect.and opportunities denied to others..you are regarded as stupi..
"i don't feel like being pulled over" There it is ladies and gentlemen. The entirety of modern entitlement in a single sentence. Profound words. In a sense.
"Feelin's" are always more important than facts to much if not all of the current so called what ever generation they are. So arrogant, so smug and so condescending without any reason to be so.
She should have just been acting like a normal person. Just take it for what it is. Instead her and her lesbian loser decided to act a fool and the ghetto came out
I would honestly rather someone be blatantly rude to me than deal with someone who’s THAT subtly sarcastic and borderline nasty to someone just doing their job. “I don’t feel like being pulled over” is a jaw dropping statement coming from someone who doesn’t understand what position they’re in 💀
To be sure, all of that changes nothing. For the police dealing with drunks is part of the job. They've seen it all. With police cams though, she just embarrassed herself and got herself cancelled. If she acted normally, no one would have cared.@@VioletJoy
@@soulscanner66 I wasn't suggesting what should or should not happen. I was just responding to the comment saying that she was subtle with her insults rather than direct. She was definitely direct.

The news anchor, I agree with you. I've never listened to any of his songs, but I have heard of boosie so he counts, and Marshawn Lynch is one of the greatest running backs in NFL history, 2/3 ain't bad
Not sure i follow the point of the story; she ended up being under legal limit and the cops ruined her career by publicly releasing the footage? And that was a good thing? shrug... Seems like they gave her a pretty good lawsuit.
I think that's FOIA stuff, not the cops. She kept getting mad because she thought people were watching as she was asked to do the exercises. How long after arrest was the test taken?
@@michellestrickland7613 test has to be within the timeframe of 20mins-120mins to be admissible. Being arrogant wacko is not illegal... Although LEO would have to lose qualified immunity for a civil case; which is bit challenging. Largely depend on if the LEO had a pior ruling.
The peasant low paid news reporter was fired. It begged for its job back. The family must be so embarrassed to have that criminal as a family member. The police chat forum said she begged and said she would do anything to keep the video private. They laughed for weeks about it. The video still does the rounds today.
I feel bad for the people that make less cleaning up kitchens and wiping the butts of old people. If you think randos are bad, spend your week as a CNA making minimum wage with demented and bitter old people. Long story short, that's what they're paid for. It's work, if they don't like it they can always quit. Most people don't like their jobs. Cops in Seattle START at $90k per year. If they decided no more of these crappy citizens, they can always work at Home Depot.
Not just entitled people but cops too. Cops are not above anyone else. They are held to the same laws as everyone else. Also that “racist comment” the news anchor said wasn’t racist. It doesn’t matter what color you are cops will shoot someone because they feel they can because they abuse their power. Also the news anchor passed all the tests and was still arrested? That right there is proof of cops abusing their power and one of the many reasons why we need to defund the police! #defundthepolice
The cam footage of boosie reminds me that those that scream the loudest are always the biggest cowards and the most insecure with themselves. It's really pathetic when i think about it, and I can't imagine living like that.
@robinliengehlin1481 😂 it's not harassment. He has illegal equipment on his vehicle and is carrying drugs. If he wants to be left alone he can follow the laws. Are you suggesting that a criminal can only be stopped a certain amount of times per month or something? Are cops supposed to say: "Well he's driving a stolen vehicle, but I guess I'll let him go because I just stopped him for stealing a vehicle last Tuesday..."
@@robinliengehlin1481lol there wouldnt be a need to be pulling over ppl for no reason. never once has he been innocent for any of his crimes. hes bitching because he got caught up, maybe let him know stop putting himself in situations where the cops have to be involved.
Rappers are so insecure and the most as women only want to sleep with them cause they got money and they flex so much to compensate for something and it shows.
The newsreader, so called 'celebrity', didn't have the intelligence to realise that she needs to behave when being filmed and lost her job as a result - not because of DUI. Clearly her masters degree was not very useful!
Exactly what I was thinking. I went from thinking he was just your average wanna be famous rapper selling drugs to afford the image (although the white jeans and shrunken-looking t-shirt wasn’t the “drip” I’d expect from a celebrity rapper. Maybe he’s more famous for that other job of his…the one he buys all the baggies for… But then I stopped mid-laugh when I realized he’s got those BC pills because he doesn’t trust the girl to not get pregnant by him. So he controls when she takes them, where, etc. I mean if you’re that concerned YOU could use the birth control. And bonus…less STD’s from all your employees/girlfriends. I mean I have to assume he’s pimping them because to speak about women you have some type of actual non-business relationship with, even if onl s*xual or a friends with benefits type of thing, is just vile. And it doesn’t make him look like some lucky guy gettin’ all the b*tches. He just sounds like someone trying too hard to seem relevant despite his way behind-the-times attitude. To reduce the women you’re intimate with on a regular basis (at least one hence the BC pills) to a bunch of d*ck suckers is worse than your average rapper’s misogyny regardless of level of “fame.”
Yeah. Yet everyone focuses on the news lady because of "her sarcasm" 😂 People love to hate women anyway they can that's why these videos are so popular Many are convinced all females are like this because this all they watch
@@TexZenMaster You cannot take a test within 20mins of a stop and road side tests are not that accurate. The evidentiary test is the one at the station. She was not over the limit as per the standard process and testing procedures simple. Being close means nothing.
@@TexZenMaster Well no, because the legal limit is determined by a blood draw at least 20mins after the person has been stopped. That is how the legal limit is determined and passing at that time means you were in the legal limit. Did they measure at her peak no but that is not how the legal amount is determined.
@@anyexpat At least you're not debating that she was, in fact, driving drunk. That was the only point I was making and you seem to agree. POS criminals cheat the system all the time. This was just one more.
My favorite of these are the influencers and people think they are above the law and that they went viral and threatened cops It ruins their careers every time
By the time the police drove her to the station, got her booked and checked in, and ran the test, it could have easily taken an hour or more to run the test. A friend of mine was once arrested for a DUI and he waited nearly 3 hours for his test because the station was a mad house that night. Police stations tend to be busier on peak nights (i.e., Thursday, Friday. Saturday, etc.). Also, alcohol leaves the body at an average rate of 0.015 g/100mL/hour, which is the same as reducing your BAC level by 0.015 per hour. She wasn't overly drunk to begin with; it was her attitude that probably led to her arrest, because she did reasonablly well on the sobriety tests. Therefore, between her initial BAC levels not being too high to begin with and the amount of time that passed by between her arrest and BAC test, her BAC levels began to decline to a "passing" level. I think she was very lucky to have the charges dropped, but the toll on her career is devestating.
And then being belligerent, arrogant, condescending and obnoxious when simply being asked to do a field sobriety test. You know, the thing that people ‘below’ you are asked to do too. Every day.
They should not have dropped DUI charges on Salley. She was arrested for DUI. The breath test was a separate charge. They evidently gave her a huge break.
I think it's because any prosecutor would've found it to be a waste of time and money. She wasn't driving erratically and was pulled over for a tail light. And while the breath test is a separate charge, the fact that it was under the limit would only supplement her claim that she was okay to drive. With all of this as ammo, any competent lawyer could get her off. It would be pointless for the state or county to pursue charges.
@@alexbartha274 Alcohol affects different people differently. One person could test under the "legal limit" and still be under the influence of alcohol (OVI). Also, BAC tests are accurate to within .005 grams of alcohol per 210 liters of breath. If she elected to use the test results at trial, she would have to call an expert to quantify the results, and the State would also call in an expert, who would testify that her BAC may have been coming down from the time of the stop to the test, and how that much alcohol would affect a person of her build. If the whole video is played to a jury, there is a good chance she would be found guilty. And she came across as very unlikeable. They don't need bad driving, or a breath test to convict. A competent Prosecutor/DA, who picks a good jury, could get a guilty verdict. Yes, there are no guarantees.
Crazy how many influencers get caught for illegal activities yet use their position to act entitled These people need extra charges and I love that they went viral and have bodycam Evidence of their entitlement
She reminds me of a former local TV news co-anchor in my city. She thought that because she was the sidekick of a famous politician-turned-newsman, she was immune from questioning or prosecution. It took a few arrests and a few cars wrecked (no one died) before she was "persuaded" to resign and take a position with a local college. On top of that, she had a terrible attitude towards mere mortals like myself, including once responding to my saying, "Hello", with "People like you don't talk to people like me unless I say you can." As you likely can tell, I was not particularly sympathetic when her TV career imploded.
@@thehaughtcorner Yes indeed. I know her tax accountant--says she's very nice now. For those who don't know, the pol-turned-newsman was Jerry Springer, before he became a TV circus master.

Tbh, I never understood why cops in the US dont just do a breathalyzer test directly. In my country they dont do weird field tests on the side of the road, where its dangerous. They make you breathe and let you go if you pass. No bs, no unneeded interaction or arrest.
Because they are trolling for other charges. The cops prey on people that don’t know their rights. They intentionally make stops difficult for citizens so they can show their dominance. It’s all ego trip.
i saw her televised apology the day she returned to work. Chick was melodramatic, narcissistic and all i could think of when she was at the end of her "apology" was....And the Oscar goes tooooo....SOMEONE ELSE! 🤣
I've never heard of any of them but Farren Salley's story is probably a textbook case study in what not to do. She would probably be a national media celeb today earning millions rightfully so but she had to pull the "Do you know who I am?" routine forgetting that everything is on video now ... as she herself might have demanded as a news caster after George Floyd. She became a victim of herself in more ways than one. Her story is a great lesson for all of us.
Marshawn Lynch is the only one who could be considered a celebrity. If you're not a sports fan then its understandable that you wouldn't know of him. He's not a guy who's a household name like Tom Brady or Michael Jordan, but he was a great player.
That Farron Salley is quite a piece of work. She's fired, then returns, then quits because shit gets public.. She just could turn this into joke by saying "I was complete bitch that evening and I've learned my lesson.." Nope, her pride didn't allow to admit to wrongdoing and to live with episode of making fool of herself. She chose to ditch her career over her ego. Regardless - she showed one thing - you never pass FSTs, it's biased and as soon as you're asked to do these - you're DONE. That's why she should have refuse FSTs and ask for breathalyzer test right away instead of playing into this whole circus.
@@CC-jf3wqthat is not true. FSTs are not mandatory (maybe they are in some states, but in the 15+ states i checked they are not and i cba to look further). Chemical tests are mandatory and refusal has consequences. Also, if a cop asks for FSTs they already made up their mind about arresting you, and it seems like they rarely have a breathalyzer on them, so you're probably going back to the station for tests either way. Refusal is usually better as it can only work as evidence against you and rarely helps you in any way.
@CC-jf3wq I don't believe that's the case with FST's. In the US, DUIs fall primarily under state law, but the state is still obligated to ensure that all local laws align with federal Constitutional requirements, above all else. Participation in FSTs must be voluntary, in all jurisdictions. I know that it's almost always true in regards to chemical test refusals. If a cop arrests a driver for DUI, that driver is legally required to take a blood, breath, or urine test, depending on that state's Implied Consent Laws. A driver who refuses the mandatory chemical test will almost always face serious additional penalties.
Chris Rock addressed this type of behavior in his 1996 HBO special Bring the Pain. The routine is a twelve-minute monologue about behaviors that Rock sees in a subset of the African-American community. He describes "niggas" as a cohort whose behavior is usually detrimental to the image of other black people. Well worth the time to watch this.

I've seen it before so I didn't watch it this time, but I loved when she started talking down to them for their education. Some of the dumbest people on earth are on college campuses right now. That's nothing to brag about LOL. The local news anchor brag is hilarious too. That's one step up from the kid that used to do the morning announcements in high school.
The only problem is that at the end of the day, the poor/ordinary gets more severe punishments compared to celebrities or rich people who can easily pay bail or a fine

Gotta love how classy Boosie is. I really liked him after watching his interview with Vlad and Adam22, it all changed after watching his arrogant, racist, conceited attitude oin these videos.
How boozy isn't a brain surgeon or a astrophysicist is beyond me. It's apparent that he's way more intelligent and respectful and respected than the vast majority of the rest of the population.
Just remember: Alcohol does not give you thoughts you don't already have. It simply removes inhibitions that on a sober day, you remember to lock away. That news anchor isn't acting that way because she's drunk, it's just coming out because she's drunk. She legit thinks of herself like that, and legit thinks of people with less than her level of education like that.
That's the beauty of America, we're all equal in our sense of entitlement. Poor people. Rich people. Black people. White people. It's a problem in this country, and it's not restricted to celebrities. People behaving badly is pretty much the American landscape. The social fabric of this country is falling apart and I blame social media.
In my limited experience of “celebrities”, I have found that real celebrities are lovely. it’s the ones that have been on TV for the briefest time and think they are major stars that are the problem.
The woman is disgusting at best. She should be the next news story on all stations in this city, showing not only this footage, but then her cleaning out her desk at work.
Thing is... she passed the sobriety tests so she actually committed no crime here. You would be angry if cops stop you when you know you're in the right. At the end, she lost her job, as she clearly anticipated during her interaction with the police, and not for driving under the influence, but for being exposed as a cocky person, which is in itself not a crime.
