3:51 her hair is not bleached she was born like that. She's just trying to straighten it but for type 3 and 4 hair you need to blow dry it first before using the flat iron. The sound is from the hair products like moisturizer and heat protectant sizzling under the heat. As you saw her curly hair wasn't damaged.

I've never had an experience that bad, but the reason i cut and dye my own hair now is because ive been duped by one too many hairdressers that don't understand what i want, and don't bother to ask me about it 😭 but hey, I'm happy doing my own hair because i can get it exactly how i want it and if i mess up, then it's my fault (usually it's only a little bit and i just embrace it anyway)

Funny story…I was 9…I had scissors…I tried to cut myself some bangs but since my hair is curly, I stretched my hair out to cut it…I cut it way to short.. then I thought it would just be A WONDERFUL IDEA to just cut that whole part of my hair .. I was bald…..right at the front of my head….. for about 3 years..

4:50 I’m pretty sure that is a little plastic cap you put on and pull bits of hair through the little holes to only dye those lighter. For highlights. But your hair gets soooo knotted I’ve done it once it takes so much conditioner and brushing and ripping to get it detangled.
