I am currently on 2.5 mg and I planned on staying on this dose until the appetite suppression is gone and I am no longer losing weight. I have been on 2.5mg for eight weeks 😊
That sounds like the perfect plan! I was surprised how quickly into taking 2.5 that I had some appetite suppression and next to no food noise. Good luck on your weight loss journey!
I’m on Mounjaro 2.5, just finished 8 weeks. My blood sugar drastically improved immediately. My weight loss total is about one pound a week. I’m going to continue on 2.5 for another month. I have a box of 5.0, not sure if I can get another 2.5 or I’ll just go up. Thanks for your realistic videos. I also appreciate you are not selling a lot of products. The prescription requires so much investment alone.
I try to be careful with recommendations and I don’t use a ton of products myself but the ones I do I watch for a sale. Not just the med but everything is going up in price and there is no need for us to take 100 different supplements and have 10 different protein powders and bars on hand. Great job on your weight loss journey!
Thanks for your videos as they are inspiring me and congrats on your weight loss journey. I have been on 2.5 for 8 weeks. Due to a successful 17 pound weight loss in my first month, my doctor prescribed 2.5 for a total of 4 months. So far, I have lost 25 pounds with at least 15 to go. The weight loss has slowed down but I am thrilled with my progress. I am a newly diagnosed Type 2 diabetic and am having blood work in another month. The results of that test along with weight loss, hunger, food noise, etc will help us decide whether to titrate up to 5.0. The shortage may also dictate which dose to move forward with. I am looking forward to future videos and hearing about your successes.
Sorry I forgot to share with you that I just started on Tirzepatide 2.5 this past Thursday 4/18/24 so for everything been good, it have not been suppressing my appetite that much, but I have not been having any food noise so that's great. I started my weight loss journey on my own in July 2022 and loss 69 lbs, but I came to a slow slow paste last year 2023. This July 2024 will be 2 years and I just been losing 1-2 lbs and gaining it back, losing it again ,and gaining it back, I only loss 19 lbs in 2023 that's what gave me a total of 69 lbs loss. I'm just so tired of keep losing and gaining the weight back so I was determined not to gain back the 69 lbs because I had already changed my relationship with food and learning to eat what is healthy for my body, even though sometimes I still eats the unhealthy foods 😕 But this is way I decided to start the Tirzepatide so not only will I finish losing my weight, but to finally get my A1C back to where it should be. And to no longer be pre-diabetic.
My insurance only allows me to be on a dose for 4 weeks until I get to 15. I haven’t loss big numbers on any of the doses. 7.5 gave me the best results. 10 was my lowest month so far.
Congratulations 🎉 However listening to your story. And being in 3 different FB groups. Feel depressed that now in my second week. Highest dose now at 15mg. Have lost about 9 pounds. Started mid January. Every success I read or hear the more defeated & hopeLess I am and feel. Best health for you. ❤
How has the past month been? And I know it’s hard, but try not to compare to mush to others. It’s a long journey but keep your eyes on your final goal!
Hi, congrats on your weight loss. I am currently on the 5 mg Zepbound and this is my second dose. I feel like maybe I should have stayed on the 2.5 another month as I felt I did fine on it. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽 that the 5 mg will work for me. I feel like not much is happening and my appetite is not as suppressed. I don’t want to rush going to the 7.5 mg- maybe I will do 5 mg for another month. I did rotate my injections- the stomach and arm is where I saw the best results.
Happy this is going well for you. I wish I’d stayed on 2.5 for another month. Working with my doctor, I’ve remained on 5 since last May. I split my 10mg dose for 5mg every 5 days. 7.5 causes migraines for me. SW293 CW197.
This was so great! I’m grateful you’re sharing, and that I found your channel! I’m subscribed now! I’m titrating up to 7.5 this evening after many weeks of considering it. So your experience was timely for me! Thanks!
I will be taking my second 5mg dose of tirzepatide tomorrow. I lost first 4 weeks, then gained 5th week….considering skipping the scale tomorrow. Anyone else have a gain this early in? Been tracking calories/protein/water. ❤
I have to disagree misleading higher doses could result in more weight loss, this is a diabetic medication thru my 17mo journey having been on all but.5mg each dose except 15 wks the same it’s about finding the dose that gives the body at least 6 days suppression, rapid weight loss=gain back=not giving the body adjust period↕️ i’m 74wks in i think A1C down frm stroke levels still lil high 58lbs down & good wit that off lot other meds & insulin…
I lost 101 lbs in a year. 5mg was my best I stayed for 3 months on it. 7.5mg drastically slowed down 10mg lost 8 lbs real fast. Now on 15mg lost nothing in 3 months. I’m also not eating as clean as I was but still low carbs.
I’m currently on 2.5 with my 4 week shot coming tomorrow. I’m avg about 4.5 pounds a week. The first week was 9 pounds but then tapered down from there. So thus far I’ve lost 12.5 pounds. Not sure if I should go up to 5.0 after next week
I’m am so careful giving advice on this because there are 2 common things people will say, if you are losing weight and not experiencing increase food noise or hunger stay at the dose but then the other is 2.5 is a starter dose and most will jump to 5. I did and don’t regret it but I still think I would’ve gotten the same weight loss on 2.5 or 5 for that next month.
Not my intention. Sorry you felt that way. If you are even taking one of these weight loss injectables then you would definitely appreciate hearing how people utilized this to aid in weight loss.
