A good thunderstorm is exhilarating. I feel most alive during a good storm. Not just rain but electricity and the smell. Its spellbinding and just calls. It's wild and beautiful.
This is the type dude I like working with, I like the way he thinks, I like how he’s methodical, he thinks ahead, he gets it all the way right, solid dude, good work 💯👍
I have been following you guys ever since you started clearing your land for construction. Now am going to buy land and do the same here in Central part of Uganda East Africa.🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬
Those are some of the best memories I have, Helping my Dad with those "I couldn't have done it without you" projects. I know he could have, but sometime the best tools are the ones who can think for them self.
Erin your eye for artistic detail never ceases to amaze me. The raindrops on blades of grass, the ladybug taking flight, flowers swaying in the breeze, water trickling down the hill as the boys go exploring...it's all so beautiful! Thank you for all the details and for sharing your journey with all of us.
Wonderful show and proves again what happens when you let your family be a part in everything you do. You both have the timing down pat to keep moving, and keep the laughing going, it really makes it fun.
The husband and wife team and plus the boy helped you out what a family I enjoy your show I really really do everything is looking up for you I'll watch your show every time it's on and I enjoy it I enjoy family getting along especially husband and wife have a good day have a good night your friend
I know many have said this, but... I really look forward to each and every video. I have learn to much. I’m a 65 year old women who lives in an old farm house in Maine and trying to maintain the house and the garden and all fruit trees is a joy!
Erin, again your editing skills just get better and better. I use a lot of special effects in my music vids, but you are getting so good at subtlety. I assure you though, those of us that edit get it and I for one am just blown away at all the little details that go by so fast most don't realize what it took to create that 3 or 4 seconds. Your story telling is wonderful and of course, Josh and the kids make good subjects. Just love your vids. And then there's the love dynamic that runs through your whole family.
I completely agree, I've spent the last 3 months working on a video for a local museum/non-profit and I'm blown away that these folks can produce 1 or more videos every week that includes these subtle artistic touches that you mention. I especially love the flower and insect macros! Also, the palpable love and human emotion throughout is beautiful and touching.
I too would like to give 10 thumbs up on Erins videos. I always did notice the extra she puts into it, not only amazing but heart felt as well! Great job Erin! Have to admit a few vids were so touching I shed a few tears over them.
Hello there Dear Erin&Josh, what a looooong rain you've had. And what a progress you made with building the Deck. Tummyrubs for Chuckie, and the other two pugs. Almost Margarita Deck Coming! Can't wait to see the end result. As always Friendly Greetings from us :Anne &Harry from Amsterdam, Holland.👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼🖐🏻❤🐾🐾❤🙏🥳
I'm from Perry county PA USA and I always will remember sitting out on the porch and watching the storms come up over the mountain sitting there with my grandparents and the kids and Mom and Dad running around in the rain your kids are blessed to be country children there's nothing like it
Josh seems to have prior knowledge and skills on all these different jobs. He can't have done all that before! The guy is a boss. Erin's filming and editing is so watchable. Enjoying the team.
Josh is an electrician. Being in a skilled trade instills discipline and accuracy. It certainly shows in his other work. His solar installation was highly … highly complicated. To a electrician another day on the job.
The deck is looking awesome! It looks rock solid, wouldn’t expect anything less with y’all building it. Can’t wait to see you enjoying that margarita on it.
Even during a lumber shortage I can watch my favorite couple build a big a** deck. Beautiful and capable wife, talented and hard working husband (with an awesome beard) and fantastic children. Always inspirational and fun
Yes Erin your videos are first class so is the work you and Josh do the children are the beneficiaries learning and doing you are giving them the best chance of the best life respect and admire you both. Well done ❤️❤️❤️🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍👍watching from Queensland Australia 💖💖💖
I've been watching you guys almost since the beginning. Erin mentioned, she remember when she barely could use a screwgun. Yeah, maybe, but I remember when Josh was petrified of the camera. You both have come a long way. You invited us into your lives and allowed us to watch you grow. Every time I drive through you area, I look for the Red Truck. Being from Nashville, sighting celebrities normally doesn't excite me much. However, should I ever spot you guys, don't freakout, if you spot a shaved head old man honking and waving like a crazy person, its just me! Lol
The deck is going to look amazing. The way you described the stairs, the landing, then more stairs going down to the fire pit area. I can totally visualize your vision for how it is going to look. Stay Happy 😂 Safe and Healthy Everyone 💕
I loved seeing Hayden help and the smile he gave as he was instructed what to do! What a little go getter aHayden is ...the fruit didn’t fall far from the tree!
We think our fresh clear open countryside here in New Zealand is one of the best places in the world to live and bring up kids but people forget that parts of the USA such as where you guys live are equally spectacular as well and beautifully portrayed in Erin's camerawork. Love your energy, humour and skills. Can't wait to see you two skulling Margaritas pn the deck.
Erin, I got to hand it to you, I just love your artistic video photography. Great shots of the ladybug, sky, trees and everything else. You are good girl!
Erin, your filming is AH-MAZING! We noticed in the short clip that showed one of your turkeys (head shot), there is a (pink) bloomed musk thistle in the background. This is an invasive species. Those blooms will end up spreading thousands of seeds. You DO NOT want them taking over your beautiful pasture. We have a farm in MO & it's a yearly spring battle to keep them at bay. We love your content!!!
Dang he does such a great job, not very young men have that now days really proud to see it plus great looking wife and beautiful family one blessed guy lol got it all what a great life! Life is good
Josh being a stickler is such a good thing on the build side, and of course Erin does amazing work on these videos........and hmmm sponsored NOT sponsored!
LOVE your house design, progress, can-do spirit, positivity to your kids, your content(the photography, editing, etc.) and.....any pants that Erin wears.
OK, once again my day has been made. Thanks you guys for bringing us into your world and proving the teachings of my parents and grandparents. With a bit of hard work you can do anything. Bravo!
I have build a lot of decks none of them I have been as well engineered as this one I could try the concrete mixer on to the top of that deck that’s how sturdy you build it good job
Hi guys, just wanted to pass along a couple thoughts. I've been watching about 6 or 7 other videos besides yours on a regular basis on RU-vid since the pandemic started and was furloughed in March and then laid off in December. Went back to work part time about 6 weeks ago and still watch you and the others. Some of them are about rebuilding old boats/ships & sailing them, some are building yurts & living off the land in relative wilderness, some are building container and regular housing and one is a huge reclaimed mansion and their business, and so on. Some are couples and some have a kid or a few. I enjoy them all but I must say your guys are without a doubt my favorite. Erin, the amount of actual work you put in, in actually assisting building the projects (not just talking about it) , not to mention home schooling the kids, taking care of the animals, cooking, cleaning and the (professional quality) filming videos, editing and voiceover work you do is nothing short of AMAZING! Keeping Josh constantly giggling and working his ass off by simply giving him that beautiful dimpled smile and some Lil Debbie's is a feat onto itself! Keep up the great work & enjoy what you have accomplished and especially that tremendous family! Michal V., S. Florida...
Love the Lady Bug picture. Deck is looking great in front of the large windows. Everything is coming together more and more for building of the house and farm. Josh and Erin doing a great job. 😊😊😊
Had the same- 6"+ over 6 hrs... washed out 1 bridge, and water over a lot of the roads....buses couldn't get thru... at least it recedes fairly fast. Deck is LOOKING good.....
I just realized why your deck structure has been looking funny to me. I've had a custom deck business for 30 years and your work looks so perfect but something just felt off. Then I realized that your deck boards are going to run perpendicular to the house instead of running parallel (ie turned 90° from standard) . I assume you are making that unique design situation for a reason. Looking forward to seeing what yall have planned.
Good morning guys James here from South Africa, if the world could only have the passion, love and drive that you and your family have for each other it would be such a beautiful place, God bless you guys and have fun.
I don't even think twice to click your videos once I see them pop-up. Then sometimes YT put a dot in your channel I have to go in and double check that I didn't miss one. Hehe. Love your family. So much joy to my heart ❤️
Get it Josh, Get it Josh!! It’s looking fantastic. Will you be torching the wood to make it black like the house or keeping it natural? Will you stain the deck?
