I loved that it went that way; I thought the swerve at the end would be that "Papa" gets home and she's so smitten she joins immediately. I would have been fine with that too, but I'd rather be surprised like this.

We accuse other people (such as religious folk) of being in a cult while we spend our time reciting political/party lines we heard in the media. Look around you. The Western establishment towing PC rhetoric is the biggest cult in history. It affords no room for independent thought or challenge - you must bow to every word of our health experts, public billionaires, or media moguls otherwise you're a fascist and conspiracy theorist.

Nikki doesn't disappoint. It's so good she portrays this sort of situation indicating it's not a cult. I live with seven people in an apartment. We gather free food from supermarkets and so on but it's not a cult. Wait until the number of people becomes 11. This is where it gets strange.

I met up with an ex about a year ago, we were still friends but hadn’t seen each other in about 3 years and he was exactly like that. He moved away and said it was for work but he ended up in this community with a bunch of people where they garden and plant food and shit. I ask him how he makes money, he said he doesn’t need money, you have to make everything yourself and it’s a community. No phone or Internet either. He looked rough too. He’s on good terms with his family but only talks to them 1x a year because he doesn’t use a phone / internet. It’s so odd. But he says he’s the happiest he’s ever been. He said he’ll call me when he’s back in town but that could be in 3-4 years. Like what??

I used to date a girl who, oddly enough, looks A LOT like Nikki. Every time I see one of Nikki's videos, she reminds me of this girl. Anyway, she was an awesome person and we got along great even after the breakup. One day she just up and moved 2000 miles away with no warning to anybody, got rid of her phone, deleted all social media, totally went off grid. I'm friends with her brother and a few years after she moved away, she was home visiting her family and we had a little discussion about her life, etc. She is TOTALLY in a cult now. Her "husband" has 12 other wives and they all live together on this weird hippie farm.

Before they came into the room wearing matching dresses and started talking about bathing before "Pappa" comes home, I was like "this kinda sounds like my life tbh". I'm polyamorous and live in a community where I only have to pay like $15 a month, and we all do chip in. Like I'll pay for groceries, someone else will cook, someone else will do the dishes. It's a nice life. We actually joke and call our place "cult of Roo" (Roo is our roommates dog who we all love)
