quick tip for when ur driving there at Watford teamsport, u don't have to slow down after the ramp going up, I've been there and u can hold the accelerator l the way until the hairpin👍👍🔥🔥
Bro you need to work on your karting skills before dishing out your opinions... some truly terrible driving here. as a perfect example 7:42 is entirely your fault, how can you not see that?
I think that at 7:42, he might just not see you diving in a space that will obviously close (you are clearely behind him when he starts turning), so aren't you a bit too aggressive sometimes and blame it on others that don't always have your level of awearness ? (I'm open to debate, i'm far from a pro kart driver)
No, you're spot-on with your assessment. That was a terrible lunge from literally light years too far back from where he MIGHT have got away with it. It most certainly was not "very, very nice". 🤣

I do need to but as I’m about to move away I haven’t got a membership! Would be good to just get some time on track and actually put in some heaters with faster people

Lol arrive and drives at Teamsport are crazy. I've stopped doing em unless I have day off so can garentee track pretty much to myself. Edmonton and Dunstable are the worst, people actually try and injure you when you overtake em. Mind you I had a session once at Docklands where every single lap in BOTH sessions was yellow or red flagged.
Hey JB, I am sure me and my friend would be willing to kart with you. Personally, I have done 25 of the teamsport tracks in 7 days a couple of years ago. And so far the only one who has done it. Hope to hear from you!
That’s such a cool challenge! Sounds like it would have been a tonne of fun (and quite expensive…) - will make everyone aware if/when we run a karting event
@@CarsWithJB I was loads of fun and required so much driving as I did it alone, but sometimes you do silly things to make sense with the world. I ended up driving over 1400 miles in my car and over 350 miles in a kart, yeah I did the math. I would do it again and had a blast. Went to the Watford track today and its not too bad. I think you would like Leeds. All tarmac and really grippy when I last did it.
This track has some good overtaking opportunities compared to Crawley TeamSport which is like Monaco! It’s a great track but patience is needed when cutting through traffic as it doesn’t take much to end up in the wall.
Not gonna lie, I'd be down for some go-karting. I don't think I've been since I was like 13 (~9 years ago now) but it'd be real fun to get back into :)
I got back into a kart at 33, absolutely raging with myself for not staying in as a kid. Been in the leccy karts and can't wait to get outdoors in a petrol kart.
After going down the ramp , the second right turn after is extremely slippery. I am going tomorrow and want to improve on my best time how do you take that corner as quick as you can as I think I must be trying to get on the throttle to quickly or something as I start to loose control of the cart. Any tips? Everywhere else I feel very confident it’s just there I start to struggle . Good video as well
make sure you use all of the track coming through that right hander (flat out obviously), then get the turning done and try to exit nice and straight towards the left hander - try not to spend too much time actually in that second right hander! Turn in, on the throttle, not too much slide, straight out
Yesterday i was at the one in Nottingham and spent the whole race getting past the two fastest. Got past them then they overtook me on yellow and i came 3rd
Man, dealing with idiots who shouldn't be out there racing would drive me insane. If it's supposed to be no contact, then they also need to inform everyone that anyone not to defend so hard when they are clearly beaten by the kart trying to pass, otherwise the passer is going to get more and more aggressive until they can make the pass and we all know how that ends up with little crybabies seeking revenge like the purple guy who deliberately rammed you strictly for payback.
Bumper cars, but I get it, this is a tight course with difficult turns and so with those with less experience are going to be making a lot more mistakes. Still sucks, but thats how it is.
I dont really know what your moaning about you where slamming people just as aggressively, including the small person presumably a kid.. you come across as trying to be a victim, bit of a moaner?
Sorry if it comes across as a moan - I don't mean it to be/don't think anyone's a victim, it's all a bit of fun, more than willing to give as good as I get (clearly, hence sending blue dude into the barrier!)
The hypocrisy! When you argey-barge through someone it's just racing, even though you admit that it's supposed to be non-contact, but when someone has finally had enough and pays you back for your BS, it's _"oh, I'm innocent, I don't know why he did that."_ Truly disgusting...
You guys are clearly decent, but unless you hire the track to yourselves, there are always going to be other people there. It is not your god given right to assume I am better he should get out of my way. Especially more inexperienced drivers who are there for fun and may not know lines or best braking points.
