Never let it be said that Uri doesn't show us the real stuff.
In this week's video, things don't go as planned as Uri shoves his stack in on the river with 7 high, and gets snapped - like... SNAPPED. But like a true pro, he walks it off, and takes what knowledge he can from the experience. After all, we all fall down, but getting back up is a key skill for poker pros... probably even moreso than in other fields.
Tune in to hear the key takeaways for when keepin it real goes wrong on the felt.

Mtt regs are stations. They rarely ever fold top pair.

I was like "How do you fold the turn with AK?". And then i looked at the sim(GTO Wizard) and surprisingly some percentage of AK folds on all of the streets. It even folds on the flop vs big x/r.

Makes sense when BB x/r big is repping sets +. Maybe if the x/r is smaller and BB does it with AQo AK is always a call as IP. What is the best hand to call down for IP when the x/r is big? A4, A2 blocking straights and two pair, and having extra equity? Or everything is a mix?

@@yofoxjoke To take a line like that the runout has to be good as in the video and villain has to be a calling station that is going to call with worst Ax (unlikely and rare, maybe vs a fish/whale?). In most cases if you x/r with a medium hand, you end up checking turn or river. So x/r, x/c and maybe x/c, or x/r, b and maybe x/c. You have to be very careful in these lines when x/calling, think about villain (maybe a nit) and runout (maybe bluffs have completed like FD and is not easy to find bluffs). The villain and runout are super important when you are deciding what line is going to give you more EV. Anyways, these are my thoughts maybe somebody else can jump in and we can have a discussion. Nice video as always Uri!

@@jonander5498 BB is 'repping' 2 pair +, bottom two pair is very much a large part of the raising range here. You can even do this with your own AKo, as you're supposed to flat a small % vs an UTG open.

notes are the most important thing in online poker imo, if you can exploit the regs and beat them you will crush the pool, you can get a lot of data from huds on other sites but on gg note taking is super important

Your theory is great, but your game sense is a bit terrible. The a5 hand is never winning, literally losing every single time you call that river. When the board pairs on the river on the 76 hand, again in theory you're correct... but your game sense is really terrible in these games. People are calling far too often on all streets with ak/aq... and when they see the board pairing on that river, they literally think they have the nuts, they see that board pair as a very very very good thing for them, even if it's not. I feel you're lost in solver world, and maybe play relatively few hands each month, and aren't attuned to the reality of these games?

I meannnn he’s going to play theory first and adjust later. He doesn’t normally play 200nl so for him to make adjustments with no history is not possible.
@jeegee-cx7ss
@jeegee-cx7ss 3 месяца назад
@@poster512 Playing theory first, then adjusting to an individual is like putting your hand into a snake pit, and saying... "When each snake bites me, I will then adjust to each snake individually..." Rather than just assuming each snake will bite, and adjusting by wearing bite proof gloves before putting your hand into the pit. Playing according to population tendencies, readless, is best... not playing according to theory, then adjusting. It's like using your face as a shield, when you can use a shield.

@ericzhong5863 3 месяца назад
@@jeegee-cx7ss I agree with part of your statement, when you have a good knowledge about the population, then you should probably use that first. However, this guy plays above NL5000, and its not possible for him to know NL200 population stuff. Even if he can spend time studying that, he probably doesn't want to, because that may confuse him and make him change his style naturally in his own stake. He also cant make a video playing his stake because of various obvious reasons. So this video is probably what you can expect him to supply you with, and it is beneficial at least for some aspects. If you want to add population exploit to his way of playing and make it even better, that's up to you.
