Kristaps is quite the player. He might not give you 80 games a season, but if you’re willing to manage him conservatively he is worth every penny of his contract. He entertains and his defense is very good for someone his size. His ability to shoot the 3 ball is rare and having a big man like him allows the floor to be spread as far as I’ve EVER seen. The other four players on the team have a wide open lane to drive. This Celtics team will repeat unless of injury or lack of previous effort.
J J played for halfof the teams in the nba😂 not because he wasntgood he was cold and very consistent but a lot of team wanted him because he was a shooter and he wanted to win
@@mavericktexan3575That’s like saying Darvin Ham is a good coach because he has LeBron. Luka has come a long way since then, and there’s no chance the Pacers are doing as well as they are now if Kidd is coaching them. Put some respect on Carlisle’s name ya bozo.
Hopefully Luka realizes soon so he’s not viewed as a beach like Lebron is. When your fan, peers, and even family don’t respect you, you know it’s too much. Still, at least Luka isn’t pretty much the biggest guy on the court and crying after every shot, though.
@04billups90 People love to defend their great white hope. Steph and Kyrie are absolutely hated by the refs but they dont cry about it. Jokic too but he didnt cry like baby Luka who the refs LOVE Luka fans are just terrible people in general
@jackchan6642 If you watch the whole interview KP didn't really say anything bad about anybody. Not even when Redick tried to get him to dish some about his relations to certain players like Luka.
he left becuz he wasnt good enough , 10 years without any breakthrough, and your old core dirk went retired and u tried with 3 years with the new core but nothing change, that means time to go.
Luka just needed a better coach that time and it was not Luka why we lost those series. If Kp was not suspended and healthy and made a few trades and keep Luka and Kp and waited for Ky we are contenders in the past 2 seasons for sure 😂 and might be 🏆
@@Zacche oh wow youre actually 12 and literally dont know how NBA contracts work. a franchise gets a certain salary amount they can pay their players, and then they get a much tinier space to "overpay" the players, but then have to pay a luxury tax to the NBA. (no matter who the owner is, that money didnt go to the mavs, but to mark cuban) the mavs are 36 million into the luxury cap, and have 8 more to spend until the salary hardcap. now you tell me how they pay KP, and especially how they attract kyrie with KP still on the roster.
@@leonhardableHow did the Nets do it a few years ago? How'd the Suns get KD and Beal while still keeping Book? The '17 Warriors? The Celtics this season literally added KP AND Jrue to an already stacked team. The Bucks found a way to get Dame while still keeping Giannis, Khris, Brook, and Bobby. The Clippers have 2 former MVPs AND 2 former MVP candidates. I'm not saying it would have been easy, but I'm sure it could the Mavs could have figured something out. It's not like KP was that hot of a commodity after the Mavs debacle.
He's playing inside in Boston. Screening, Rolling to the Basket. Using his size. In Dallas he just wanted to be a spot up shooter. And his shooting was terrible. The dude is like 7'4". Why is it so hard to figure out bigs play better as bigs instead of trying to be shooting guards.
19 YO Derek Lively has one of the highest FG% for a rookie. He just had a 16/16 against JJJ and Memphis. Only played with Luka in just 22 games and has better chemistry with Luka than KP. Sometimes, it's about knowing you're role and accepting what you're capable at. KP did neither. Plus, he can't stay healthy. By the time he was traded to the Wizards, he already missed 20 games as a Mav. Now he's in a successful team -- playing the same role the Mavs expected from him. If only he realized it earlier.
" he just wanted to be a spot up shooter " yes of course, he just decided to do whatever the heck he wanted to do and nobody in Dallas could stop him....
@@dexarceo821context matters, nearly every bucket that guy has is a dunk.😂😂 He getting open dunks because they have to watch White Harden, dribble around amassing historic usage rates in a pace inflated statistical era.
Still think after injury he’s the only thing that he’s been good to or four was Boston before he got hurt again, so let’s hope he can play half a game and stay in and enjoy the rest because the man are going to test him
Not really, he actually praises him often. He mentioned the bet twice, but that seems to me like they have a good relationship. You wouldn’t bring up debt in a podcast with someone you’re not cool with right?
