The Constitution guarantees equality to citizen not to refugee and a hindu in bangladesh and in afpak can't be equated to muslims. The Constitution also talks about equal protection of law.
The point being my friend, there was no need for this act altogether. This act is only in place to appease the vote bank. Those people would've gotten citizenship anyhow, but they brought this act, singling out a certain minority, spreading hate against them just to win votes.

The whole idea of CAA is to fasten the process of citizenship for "Historically Proven Persecutions of Religious Minorities" in pak, ban and afg. If you are a Jew regardless of country where you live in you can move to Israel and claim citizenship. Whereas if you are a Buddhist, Bhutan will treat you as a foreigner. No citizenship on the basis of religion in Bhutan. You have to accept the fact that if persecution is on the basis of religion, citizenship will be given on the basis of religion. It's called humanity. These kind of people present half facts to gain popularity. Shame on you.
Jews are not seeking citizenship in India because of persecution from pakistan, bangladesh and afghanistan. There are no jews in these countries and no jews is coming from these countries. And the jews who already live in India are already citizens for several generations. You need to study the CAA which is specifically built for specific countries in our neighbourhood for their minorities which are persecuted. Where do other people come in these. You should also need to understand that we can't take all of their population as India is already so much populated. So we can only be selective in this case. How can you be so ignorant when you are so much educated and son of CJI.
There is a process for obtaining citizenship. CAA doesn't take away that process. CAA has been deliberately designed that way. Not only limited to certain religions, it is also restricted to certain countries only. If you open up CAA for everyone, the entire population of those countries will knock at your door tomorrow.
Our population is increasing and is highest in world. While millions of our own people live in poverty how the hell are we gonna bring in more people and sustain
You left out a simple logic ....the muslims who created Pakistan and later Bangladesh were muslims who didn't believe in the idea of India. The muslims who stayed back in India beleived in the idea of India , our Muslims worked hard to make India grow .... Now that India is successful, why the Muslims of Pakistan n Bangladesh be given easy Indian citizenship when 2 generation back they broke India .... Dont you think thats doing injustice to Indian Muslims more than anyone else...the people who stayed in India and built India be given equal footing with people who actually broke India
My dear clever human being, in 2018 there were 4 Jews in Dhaka, There were two Jewish families in Bangladesh [after independence], but both migrated to India - one in 1973 and the other in 1975, their families lived more than 11 yrs they can get citizenship, no one restricts them by law. Also there are officially no Jews remaining in Afghanistan today, all who existed earlier went off to Israel. Only one self-declared Jew, is present in Pakistan. For ur information no Jew is left and those who are there, they came to India. Many Pakistani Jews joined local Jew community and have got citizenship. All the Bene Jews, Baghdadi Jews and Cochin Jews are only in India with citizenship. We gave citizenship to those communities who are not legally provided with rights by constitution of these states. These states promote islam of any sect legally. So they have constitutional rights. The CAA is to give citizenship to those who migrated due to no constitutional background in Islamic neighbours of India. Also if we include Balochis and others, it would poke Pakistan, because there is a demand for a nation on basis of their ethnicity and if we do give them citizenship , we would be seen by international community as of we are funding to Pakistani separatists and it prevents India from questioning Khalistani separatists. Its like Myanmar saying as you gives have a tribal conflict in Manipur, Kuki tribes are given citizenship , it escalates situation of conflict between tribes and nations also... So to defend FP , we didn't include them. If relations worsen , they blame us, soo we should be careful...
First of all Buddhism originated in india no further question. And for jews i think there is not single jews immigrants from these country and atheist it can be used as a loop hole but yes we can think about jews and theist, and Muslim minorities but from my knowledge islam does not teaches about caste😂😂😂😂
I'm not against Jews being granted citizenship...but Israel is their Ancestral land...also there are no Jews in Afg,Pak or Ban. Jews if persecuted anywhere will go to Israel first.
Is it that hard for this guy to understand that this bill is for those countries that share immediate land boundary with India, what kind of a lawyer is he?
Trying to "win the argument"??...just tell us are you for or against the CAA principally?? The act is brought-in to fulfill the promise made by Indian State to the non-Muslim Indians who were left starnded in Pakistan during partition. - CAA is applicable for the people who hv already come in India from these 3 countries - which has no Jews and Bahais (so you are factually incorrect) To answer this lad: 1. Jews - although i stand with jews but they have no locus standi to be included in CAA - they can get citizenship if they seek for it. And as pointed above thrs no jew who came to India from Pakistan seeking citizenship. Such a lame argument. 2. Buddist - Thats a religion born in Bharat while thr relics have been torn down in pk. Ofcourse they should be included just like sikhs and jains. 3. Christians - well India being ruled by British, thrs a huge lot of Hindus who embraced Christianity and they are persecuted in pk all the same. But they r Indian all the way. 4. Atheists - if you understand the core of CAA - it revolves around "religious persecution" - hope you understand 5. Categories of Muslims - different sects within a religion have different "beliefs", just like shwetambar and digambars in Jainism; nirankari and amritdhari in Sikhism. But they are Jains and sikhs. You will understand, if you "try" to understand the plight of people, instead of your urge to win the argument...such a shame. 6. Bahai's - dont even want to get in others. Guy is a good "orator", wish he had a good understanding of the "matter" as well.
